This is a beautiful hotel. Convenient to Riverwalk, alamo, shopping and dining. Movie theater inside Riverwalk mall as well.

What the hotel lacks in architectural style and amenities, it makes up in location and affordability. Upon entering the hotel which is built on top of a multi-level parking garage we were greeted by a friendly staff. Our room was clean and we appreciated the ample closet space and chest of drawers. Adequate shelf space in the bathroom area, though the fixtures needed some updating. Across the street from the hotel entrance there is a staircase down to the the River Walk. The hotel has a bar that offers a limited and uninspiring food menu. The Riverwalk Plaza is a solid 3-star hotel. If you plan on spending most of your time out and about seeing the sights or on business, then this hotel is a good choice.

This hotel is very old and things didn’t work , such as the heat and the over all look and feeling was definitely cheap with poor quality.

The hotel did not have my prepaid reservation. It took me 1.5 hours on the phone to resolve with Travelocity. Isabelle at reception desk tried everything to help me out and was also working with Travelocity for 1.5 hours.

Good beds, pool heater broken - for how long?
Staff were pleasant and beds were comfy. We asked for a towel change which didn’t happen so we were unable to wash on our second night. I chased with reception, they instructed me to leave old towels outside the room but these were still not changed. We specifically chose this hotel for the outdoor heated pool. My kids had to swim in freezing water as apparently the pool heater was broken (as was the elevator when we arrived)…..really disappointing. Did we have bad luck timing or has it actually been down a while?

Had a great stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Beds were a little firm fornour liking and at times the hallways had an odd smell to them, but we would stay here again.

Overall decent hotel but not the cleanest or newest. Its in a nice location but the reason I took a few stars off is because I got a wake up call at 7am that I didn't request and the elevator was broken for a couple of hours.

Everyone was very friendly and the accommodations were great. Location was right on Riverwalk within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

The hotel room we were put in had 2 queen size beds and one was completely worn to wear, literally reignited back problems that I have not had in a while, the mattress was thin and felt like sleeping on the frame itself. Room was not refreshed after 3 days of staying there and had to make multiple requests to get towels sent up
