Step out discover, explore and take in the many cultural and unique attractions that the core has to offer. Steps from the Mile One Center, The Convention Center, The Rooms Museum, Restaurants, Shopping, George Street, and historic Water Street. This is a place where you can park your car and take in the city by foot!

This ground level apartment is the perfect location to set up shop for a downtown stay. Once inside the front door you will be required to enter the unit on your left via a code locked door for access to your apartment. Walk into a tastefully decorated and cozy living room equipped with couch, chair and TV. In the corner near the bright front window you will also notice a desk and chair if a working area is required for your stay.

As you move down the hall towards the back of the house you will pass a bathroom on your right and the bedroom on your left as you move into the eat-in kitchen. The full bathroom contains a stand up shower. The bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed with a nice window for morning light.

The kitchen is equipped with a two person table, and all the pots, pans and utensils you would desire for prepping you own meals during your stay. Coffee pot, toaster, microwave, knife sets, dishwasher, utensils, etc, etc.

While staying at this unit laundry is accessible for guests. It is shared with the unit and is accessed via a code lock around back of the house. You can access this area by exiting the back door in the kitchen and entering the laundry area up the back steps (the back door of the upper unit) via a code that will be provided prior to your arrival.

Great location, but needs more attention to detail
Great location, parking and cleanliness. Smell of disinfectant cleaner overpowering. Needs a mirror outside the bathroom and more glassware etc. Noise from upstairs unit was frequently so loud that sleep was difficult. Offensive smell in Bathroom, we realize this might just be the age of the building. The unit needs more attention to detail.

Located close to downtown St. John’s George Street. Kitchen was well equipped, a quiet area, easy access to apartment. On arriving to the apartment we could smell cleaning product in the air and it appeared to have been well cleaned for us. It was on day 2 that we noticed an issue. Communication with host okay until we reported a fly and sow bug infestation on the second day of our stay. He replied saying he would look into it right away but we never heard back from him. The issue continued to get worse with each of the remaining 3 days of our stay. The host never contacted us again even after messaging him a few more times about the issue. Unfortunately, the insect issue made it difficult to enjoy the rest of our stay. We were not able to put our bags on the floor and spent mornings and nights swatting flies. No food could be left out. We would not recommend this location based on our stay. A VRBO agent was helpful in arranging a review for this location.

Hosts were awesome, but the pace lacked any homey touches, like lamps to soften harsh overhead lighting, no curtain to kitchen window, no full length mirror. I have shared my observations with the hostess and she waas very receptive.Those things are liely to have been remedied by the time this review is posted.
