Unfair charges for owner’s appliances
My holiday with my elderly parents was overshadowed when I got home to find the owner of this property had charged my credit card for 2 appliance repairs. Both appliances were reported to the owner immediately they were noticed (within 48 hours of arriving ). We didn’t complain when we had to make do without one of the appliances for the majority of our stay along with other items in the house that were faulty or suffering from neglect. We spent one of our last vacation days waiting in for the repairman - only to get home and find out we have to pay for it - cc has been charged. Outrageous !!!
Property owners should not be allowed to charge guests for their faulty appliances!!!
