Overall, I was pleasantly supposed with the B&B. This is the first time that I've visited the property and I wasn't disappointed. I barely make reviews unless it is dreadful or has surpassed my expectations - I'm a fairly critical when trying out the unknown. My children 14&11 say that Id be a good travel critique!. The decor has clearly been updated and they've had a decent handy man in to do the jobs! The courtyard is a lovely touch with entertainment on certain nights - was a shame we didn't have ant with it being a weekend. The place is set in a safe village with necessities dotted around, has a park, spa, and a lovely walk to a farm shop and train stations to get to the beach - if you dont fancy driving (get tickets online!) Theres plenty of space to park your car, so you can easily hang your keys up and get about on the trains! This is very decent for the price. The breakfast is very basic and could do with a better toaster... a lot of people were waiting because it was quite an unsual one, if you dont work in machincal engineering or dont have common sence then skip breakfast! Breakfast consisted of eggs that you boil yourself with another mechanical contraption, cheese, ham, crumpet, cereal, fruit and yoghurt - would be nice touch if they had pastries with it being continental! Majority of the staff are polite, attentive and friendly - suppose where ever you go you get the odd one thats contemplating on quitting their job and onto next best thing. My daughter commented
