The hotel was a bit further than I expected from the terminal. Also the shuttle runs on a set schedule that isn't posted online and took us 45 minutes to arrive at the hotel after we boarded the bus.

Shuttle service is infrequent after 4 pm
Chose the hotel for closeness to the airport with shuttle service. Turns out it is not every 20-30 min. As listed at hotels.ca but every 2 hours after 4 pm. That would have influenced my decision were I to have known. The check-in and staff/hotel were fine…we didn’t appreciate waiting an hour for a shuttle and then needing to take a taxi anyway.

Pretty good hotel, located 15ish minutes from DXB. Nothing fancy but does the job-comfortable bed, good breakfast, helpful personal. Metro is only 8 mins away.

Convince place to stay near the airport. Just keep in mind that the airport shuttle is by schedule; verify with the hotel. That way you don't have to wait and get a taxi. The only thing I would change is to do a deep cleaning in the bathroom, my shower had a little mold. It's not noticeable, I notice, because I'm very big on that. Other than that, I'll recommend the hotel.
