Great Palm hotel / location
Hilton doing its thing well! From check-in to check-out I was impressed with the quality & level of service (& I checked in at 2.30am!) Staff were super friendly throughout, the hotel was always spotlessly clean & well looked after, as was my room. Great amenities in room too - kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer etc. Poolside was great, plenty of loungers/cabanas, at seat service as well as an app to order plus free filtered water & towels. There are plenty of restaurants but only one I think operated by Hilton - Mowsem. I only used this for breakfast, nothing missing that I could think of that you might want for breakfast and pretty efficiently run. Had a great stay - couple of small things noted below!) The hotel location is on the main trunk road onto the Palm and therefore when taking a taxi to or from the property requires a certain amount of twisting & turning by the driver - honestly the road system on The Palm makes spaghetti junction look simple - I mention so that you know the drivers are taking the mickey! Also the independent restaurants in the hotel do not offer the free filtered or local water the hotel does, a bit annoying as I feel a few years ago Dubai generally had got away from only offering paid for bottled water but that certainly wasn’t the case whereever I went. There was seemingly not issue if you had your own with you. Overall a great stay & would stay again!

Anniversary Treat
We booked as part of our 30 Year Wedding Anniversary celebrations and stayed for 6 nights. Check it was quick and we were shown to a deluxe sea view room which was absolutely stunning and probably one of the most modern and clean hotel rooms we have ever stayed in !!! They had left us a complimentary an anniversary cake which tasted delicious. We were on a half board basis which meant you could use the array of their restaurants for either lunch or dinner and had a 150 AED credit per person. The half board basis included food only. Breakfast was buffet style with an amazing choice of the usual fried breakfast and eggs anyway you wanted and omelettes. Pastries galore, fruit, cereal hams and cheeses. Everything you could think of was offered at breakfast. We ate at Claw, Trader Vics, Jones the Grocer and the buffet restaurant, all of which had a wonderful choice and delicious food. We didnt use the sushi restaurant called Barfly but did have a few cocktails there and the view over the palm from there was stunning. The staff and service at this hotel are second to none and cleanliness is impeccable. We are already planning a return trip.
