Great modern hotel
Exc lent ultra modern hotel on great location on the walk. We stayed 3 nights here on b&b rate, we had deluxe room on 33rd floor great views. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, We spent a few hour by the pool the pool guys were such good fun and always found us a bed, god dj and saxophonist playing. Good selection of restaurants in the hotel we ate in Luigia and Ammo’s both highly recommend All the staff are lovely and accommodating a special mention to Maria on reception who really looked after us on checkin what a lovely friendly girl

I'm a regular Rixos customer and, as always, my stay was superb. The Staff really make it a pleasure. Only downsides for the first time here were the very noisy construction right next door and the somewhat scuffed and tired-looking poolside furniture. These matters need to be addressed. I normally rate 5/5, but this time I was going to give a 3. It would have stayed at a 3 had the staff not been so wonderful.

Pros - nice pool area, good food at buffet, excellent housekeeping staff, good access to restaurants and shops on JBR strip. Cons - cold service checking in at reception, AC in rooms not strong enough, no personal touches to your stay if that's what you're used to at other hotels. Note that the hotel takes a deposit at the beginning of ur stay, we left 11 days ago and are still yet to receive the remainder of the deposit.

This hotel was huge and felt a little lonely as a solo traveller. I didn’t feel the exceptional customer service on checking in as I have at other hotels. The food was excellent. Buffett again huge and service was slow due to volume of dinners at peak time. Cleaning of my room was extremely good. The gym was amazing!!

Excellent hotel for a family
Excellent - clean, central location, the pool is excellent for adults and families. Staff are friendly and always there to help. The suite is perfect for families with young children. Need to improve - lifts, every day it seems like only one or two is working, stops at every floor. There are 6 lifts but it doesn’t work very well. - pillows were too hard - I didn’t ask for better ones because I was too tired every night - AC is intermittently working, one room it was too cold or too hot. - Godiva downstairs is useless, no coffee or ice cream available. - the hotel needs a coffee shop - breakfast is very good but the options feel the same every day. Some variation will be nice, better selection of cakes/pastries. - waiter service by the pool is slow, takes a while to get someone’s attention

My wife and I stayed 1 week at the Rixos Premium JBR. The hotel and facilities were excellent. The superior room we stayed in was spacious and had sea views across to the big wheel and Palm. The pool area and loungers were first class. There were lots of great restaurants both in the hotel and nearby. The nearest tram stop which links to the train Metro is just 10 minutes walk away. We definitely made the right choice staying on The Walk at JBR and the Rixos ticked all the boxes
