Our family of five recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Special thanks to Rizwan, who was awesome throughout our stay, and Imtiyaz at check-in. We stayed in room 9602, which was perfect with its stunning views of the Palm and the sea from the balcony. The room was spacious and well-appointed, making our stay very comfortable. The pools were brilliant, and our kids absolutely loved them. The Gelati ice cream staff near Koru were amazing. Breakfast at Manava was a highlight each morning, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The kids club was a godsend! Our 6-year-old was initially reluctant, but after his first visit, he loved it and made lots of friends. You can leave the kids there for up to 3 hours under staff supervision. While we were disappointed that the Porterhouse restaurant and Laguna were closed, we thoroughly enjoyed dining at Hong Loong, Moana, and Zoya. However, paying £10 for a 750ml bottle of water was a bit steep. It would be great if water was included in the half-board package, though we understand paying for other drinks. The spa was fantastic. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The cleaning staff were super nice and ensured our room was spotless. Our stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm was amazing. The lovely hotel, friendly staff, and excellent amenities made it a memorable vacation. We would definitely come back again.

I has constant construction noise in and around the hotel. I’ve come to a 5 star hotel to relax with my family and we couldn’t even rest. The management team changed my room but the noise still persisted and then further to this disruption there was ‘maintenance’ work ongoing at the lifts causing further inconvenience. The worst part of it, the breakfast was horrible. Sausages uncooked. Even staff mentioning the breakfast is old and not freshly made. They reuse what they can. Disgusting. The only positive was the valet parking staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. This hotel is not 5 star whatsoever.

We had a lovely family holiday and staff were very child friendly and made our stay welcoming. Food choices on half board at the pool were limited though reflected in the price we paid. Breakfast and lunch were the meals we had and always good quality. Pools and staff all were brilliant Location is a bit out of the way on the Palm, we knew this ahead of travel and knew we would need a taxi to get anywhere. Concierge services were good and got taxies and buggies when needed. Overall a great holiday.

We had a wonderful stay. Pools were amazing, 6 to choose from. Always got a lounger. Lots of shade which is good in 45degrees. Food was fantastic and lots to choose from. The kids loved kids' club. Can't wait to return.

Do not recommend and do not intend coming back - Unfriendly and unwelcoming reception at check in who failed to provide information about facilities. - No water provided at the pool side. Other hotels bring you this complimentary with an ice bucket and give you lollies. You will have to purchase this at 30AED per small bottle without ice here. - Dining options were not great with the main buffet offering substandard quality and limited variety which pales in comparison to other similar hotels. - Slow, cumbersome, inattentive and forgetful service throughout. - No complimentary access to spa facilities. You will have to buy a day pass to use the facilities at around 200 AED per person. - Kids club tend to call you within an hour to pick up children as they do not seem to engage with them much. - Drinks prices on the Palm are high but at this location it simply did not feel worth it. - Dated and showing its age in multiple areas. - Stained and damaged furnishings. Without a doubt this hotel was memorable for the wrong reasons and we now know that we should look elsewhere for our Dubai stays.
