I had a great stay. The hotel is very well situated. Easy to walk to major sites. Tram a buses right at the doorstep. Nice restaurants right close by. Room was a good size, clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Would recommend!
Keavan's Port was a great stay. It was relatively central (about 20 min walk to Temple Bar), very walkable, close to a tram station, close to lots of restaurants, and the bar/restaurant was great. They offered yummy and affordable breakfast and drinks (we didn't try their lunch/dinner). The building itself was very cool; we liked the history and preservation of some of the old rooms/structures. Room service was kind of inconsistent (didn't always make the bed, etc.), but we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

I arrived earlier than the check in time but was checked in straight away. I was found a ground floor room when I requested one rather than being on the second floor. The person on reception showed me to my room and carried my bag for me! What a gentleman. When I checked out I asked for a taxi and was advised as to the best thing to do. Very nice staff

Awesome stay at Keavan’s. Comfortable bed. Architecture is beautiful. Enjoyed our first full Irish breakfast there. It was excellent. Location is great - not far to walk to the QPark, Steven’s Green park and other areas. Staff was helpful.

I loved the facilities of the public area, is very unique with the old Church which is done up beautifully & the stained glass windows throughout the downstairs areas. The staff overall were friendly. The Reception staff were extremely helpful to me (I was fresh off the plane from Australia) helped me with directions & also ordered a taxi for me & helped again when 2 taxis didn't turn up!

Nice hotel, good location, small hotel rooms
The Keavans Port clearly has repurposed an old building into a hotel. There are a number of older public rooms on the ground floor. You have to wend your way through those to get to the reception area. The restaurant/pub is a very open space - that you have to cross to get to some of the rooms. Despite the odd layout, it all works. The location is good. It's a very short (1 minute) walk to a nearby Luas stop and about a 10-minute walk to St Stephen's Green, 15 minutes to Trinity College.
