We requested houskeeping service and they came and made our bed with the old sheets and 2 new towels, but no tissue refill and the floors were dirty. We also had an incident where a vagrant walked right into lobbybar and grab a drink from our table. There was no security and we had to alert manager of him to escort out!

Great property, clean and friendly staff. Restaurant for offering was great and lots of local produce included. Would recommend trying Dublin’s Travelodge PLUS next time you’re thinking of a weekend or city break.

Hotel is within ten minutes walking distance from Temple Bar, Trinity College, Connoly Train Station and express busses to and from the airport. There's not much in the way of nightlife around the hotel but Temple Bar and Merrion Square are a quick stroll away.

Good location except if you have a car to park. They have a deal with a lot which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel and costs €25, not the €20 quoted when we checked in). When I asked the front desk they just claimed a new company took over and must have changed their rates but they would investigate that straight away. Then did nothing. Rooms were nice but very small, we struggled for a space just to open the suitcase without hitting a wall. The shower was completely plugged and after one shower, it took removing the drain cover and digging out the drain to get the water to go down. Suggestion, the cleaners should be testing that when they are cleaning the room and take care of any clogs before they become an issue for the guests.

Noisy Alarm AM
Hotel is great and modern, clean and food is good, the shower is terrible, has no pressure at all, and whatever few drops you manage to get out constantly turn on and off, we stayed here last year too but we didn’t have any issues with the shower that time so it must be a one off issue. For the second time the fire alarm awoke us early in the morning in our room, it was absolutely deafening, we were called from reception asking if we’d used any sprays or the hairdryer, this was around 6:45 AM, we were fast asleep, then a staff member comes up 5 minutes later with a hoover placing it against a small vent on the wall, sucking away for a good 10 minutes whilst this ear piercing alarm is blasting away, to then say he can’t get it to stop and he will have to manually turn it off, couldn’t he have done that 15 minutes prior instead of waking the entire hall??!! The same alarm went off last year during our stay so this seems a reoccurring issue, please sort this as we visit Dublin 1/2 times a year and are quite satisfied with the hotel and location and it would be a shame to find alternative accommodation, staff are very helpful in fairness, Ken especially always goes the extra mile

Up market travel lodge but some issues
Well positioned hotel, rooms good but very small. More upmarket than usual Travel Lodge. Housekeeping needs requesting night before. Staff generally very good but we had an issue getting milk for our room. Housekeeping did not leave any, asked at reception and told they would bring some. An hour later phoned down and asked again. Gave up after hour and half!
