In the old town up steep stairs, however our host greeted us and carried two heavy suitcases to the apartment. It was spacious. Shower leaked but extra towels provided. Clean and comfortable.

The apartment was relatively basic regarding furnishing and equipment, but everything that we needed was provided and the apartment was clean. The location of the place was absolutely great and exactly what we wanted. The best part of the whole experience was the communication with Vedran. He was available for all questions, provided us with fresh towels halfway through and was just generally a really friendly and approachable person! We had a really great time in Dubrovnik!

Very nice and clean apartment, and very friendly host. Apartment had plates, pots, pans, cutlery etc. Two hobs to cook on, and even a coffee machine + coffee. Two sets of towels plus one spare, and soaps/shower gel provided. Beautiful location within the old town, with the front door opening up straight into the street. However, it is located at one of the high points in the town, so be ready to tackle a lot of steps to get there. Only thing is that one of the windows was frosted with no blinds, so the room was very bright in the morning.

Threadbare bath towels. ONE single sheet on a queen bed. No tea or coffee. Broken bathroom door and broken shower door. Noisy upstairs residents. TV didnt work owner then took remote. A fold up bed or couch dumped in corner of room. Broken drawer on wardrobe hanging out. Owner threatened to call police when we complained. We left after two nights and she wont refund any money. AVOID THIS DUMP.

Not that great...
First off, it was difficult to find and no-one had sent me the directions etc before we arrived. The company that I phoned only sent them to me after 40mins of searching, and then blamed me for not adding a phone number to the booking. I checked and I had added it... There are 141 steps up to it and they are steep... So bear that in mind. This is Dubrovnik though so it's not an issue, just to bear in mind. The room was ok. There were stains on the bed sheet, the hotplate was missing. I contacted the owner and they brought a new one the next day to us which was helpful. The shower head holder bit was loose so I had to tighten it with a butter knife so we could shower. The floor in the bathroom got incredibly wet after 1 short shower. The shower door kept coming off of the track at the bottom. The cleanliness was not there... There was a bit of mould on the walls... It was not that great if I'm honest and I can't really recommend it...

The room was great and clean, but the bed was unfortunately quite bad. Also, when The Windows were closed, The apartment smelled Bad, which was however normal, since The House was very old. The host was very helpful and kind!

Good but with issues
The apartment was decent and the communication from the staff was great. We stayed in the Superior Stufio. The bed was comfy and there was a nice little kitchenette area to prepare food. And having air conditioning and free wifi as described was good. There are a few details that could be improved though - the windows don’t have shutters (except for the bathroom) and only a net curtain to pull across. Unfortunately the studio apartment is at ground level beside the kitchen window so it didn’t give us much privacy. When the lights are on at night inside the apartment people walking past can see right in and even see part of the bed. Plus when the sun rises at 4:30 am the room is flooded with light. This was a big negative point for us. Then some other smaller things like having access to a sink and washing liquid but not having a sponge or drying cloth provided is odd. Things that were available at all other apartments we stayed at during our two week vacation. And then the shower head in the bathroom wouldn’t stay in position. I had to go and buy a screwdriver on the second day and fix it myself so we were able to shower properly. It’s those small details that can have a big impact on your holiday. Also there is quite a lot of cobwebs and dead bugs all around the ceiling of the apartment. It could do with a slightly more thorough clean between guests.

Great Stay!!!
Apartment close to city center and walkable distance to all old town attractions. Please be mindful of the luggage you carry as one needs to climb many stairs to get to the apartment but that's how the old town of Dubrovnik is. Very well maintained apartments with several mindful accessories for ones use. Will surely recommend.

Nice apartment & location; shame about the rest!
The room itself was comfortable enough and had what we needed for our short stay in Dubrovnik. Good location (if you're okay with a lot of stairs). The check-in process was very stressful, however. No one was there to greet us at our pre-arranged 2pm check-in time but there was a key in the door of one of the apartments. We didn't know if this was our room or not and we had a tour booked at 4pm that we'd already paid for. By the time we left at 3.30pm, the owner had still not arrived and their phone was switched off any time we tried to call. The company we were in communication with (while fast at replying) gave us the run around by saying the owner would be with us in 10-20 mins, which wasn't correct. Eventually, we said: "We're taking the key and going on our tour". We never met the owner or heard from them during our 2-night stay. When we were packing to check-out, we noticed a large group of ants underneath the dining table. Because of these issues, we sadly can't in good faith recommend this apartment on our travel blog or to our family and friends.

Siisti majoitustila vanhan kaupungin laidalla monien portaiden päässä. Ei turisti- eikä baarialuetta, vaan ympärillä "aitoa elämää" lasten äänineen. Yöllä tosi rauhallista ja hiljaista. Huoneisto muuten ok, mutta jostain valui vettä kylpyhuoneen lattialle, joka oli koko ajan epämiellyttävän märkä. Lisäksi kujalta oli suora näkymä huoneemme wc-/suihkutilaan. Huoneessa oli ilmalämpöpumppu, mikä oli hyvä asia, ja huoneen varustelutaso oli riittävä.

Stairs !
The apartment itself was fine. However nowhere in the description nor in the pictures sent for directions to the apartment does the traveler receive notice of the tremendous number of stairs to access the apartment. It looks like a ground floor apartment with a court yard- far from it. This should be noted for those with mobility barriers.

The property was great and the owner was very nice. However, there were many many stairs to get to our place. Very difficult with luggage, and definitely not recommended for elderly!
