An amazing stay at if you’re looking to be in walking distance of everything Dubrovnik has to offer. 20 min walk to old town, 25 min walk to Lapad, small grocery at the top of the street. The VIEW is incredible from sunrise to sunset. Peaceful location away from busy streets and the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots. Tucked away just enough. I would highly recommended and will come back if we are ever in Dubrovnik again.

Absolutely stunning views, and very peaceful, a great place to relax. The apartment was so clean and well looked after, spacious and had everything needed for our stay. The lovely Ariana welcomed us on arrival and gave us endless helpful information about the area. There is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away and lovely restaurants nearby - less expensive than in the old city. The walk to the old city is about 25-30 mins and is up and down hill so be prepared if it’s hot but there are plenty of taxis - although we didn’t use any. Belle vue beach is a couple of minutes walk - just past the hotel next door and down some steps , quite steep so again be prepared if it’s hot. These apartments are a hidden gem . Would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend for a stay in Dubrovnik .

An amazing balcony and view, a little walk away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, but a short walk from Bellevue beach, a great place to spend some time, swimming, jumping and watching the water polo. Amazing host, who gave some amazing and accurate recommendations, an the whole place couldn't be faulted. Some great street food shacks up on the main road.

Lovely apartment by the Sea

The apartment was well equipped with everything necessary for a few days. Takes around 6 min drive (35min walking) to the old town and about 8 min drive to lapad. The views are spectacular. Communication was great throughout the proces. I’ve used the airport transfer which cost 35 euros each way, but there is a bus to port which only cost 9 euros.

10/10. Fabulous appartment, great location, the view from the balcony is stunning! Ariana was wonderful, friendly and incredibly helpful at check in and throughout our stay. Would advise taking the taxi they kindly offer to arrange to/from airport, cheaper and more convenient. Definitely recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

The unit we were in was very clean and perfect! We had the terrace which had an amazing view and we loved the fact that it was so close by many restaurants and a market as well as Old town! They were very very accommodating and helped book our airport transfer and even helped us with late check out and extending. This apartment was everything we needed for our trip. Very clean!

Nothing to dislike at all. Wonderful apartment with modern and clean facilities. AC and can be used as heating too (for winter months). The host is very helpful and explains everything about the apartment and the local facilities. Bus or walk to the Old City (walking just 15-20 mins.) We had the top apartment with the sea view. It’s worth every penny.

The apartment at Big Blue Apartments was ideal for us. It was a good size with a great outdoor area and magnificent view. The location was also very good with a supermarket and a couple of restaurants very close and regular buses to the old town and other areas of Dubrovnik. The complex and surrounds was pretty quiet. The owner arranged pick up from the port and drop off to the airport for us which made things very easy. Ariana was extremely helpful and provided any assistance we needed. This was particularly appreciated on the last day where we were flying out in the late afternoon. It rained all day so she organised for us to stay in the apartment longer and in a nearby one while they cleaned ours until we were to be picked up.

The view from this apartment is unbeatable. Pictures don’t lie. It is right on the rocky shore overlooking the sea and the islands. Property is also 5 minute drive from Dubrovnik’s magnificent Old Town. Apartment is spacious with separate bedroom, kitchen, large living room and dining area. It also has large balcony with table seating for four and two sun bathing chairs. Owner is very responsive and accommodating. Would stay here next time I’m in Dubrovnik.

Beautifull appartment with a view to die for

Raul and Ariana are excellent hosts. Ariana met us at the property and explaind the appartment and Dubrovnic to us. There is a market and a bakery very close to the appartment. The appartment are very clean and has a beautifull balcony over looking the Adriatic sea. We spend every evening there relaxing.The appartment has everything and the AC are excellent. We highly recommend this property and will recommend it to all our friends. If we come back to Dubrovnic we will only stay here.

Lovely apartment in great location

Just returning from a great trip to Dubrovnik. The experiene was made even more enjoyable with a stay at the Big Blue Apartments. From the initial communication from Raul organising a taxi from the airport to Ariana at the apartment, she made you feel like you were staying with a friend. Very helpful with recommendations for restaurants near by to places to visit nothing was too much trouble. On arrival she had also supplied a small welcome pack of some juice, water and beer. The apartment was about 30 mins from the old city and Lapad and was a pleasant walk. Every evening one of the local residents would play the piano in their apartment, so sitting on the balcony with the sea view made a great atmosphere.

This is a beautiful little spot, away from the busy tourists and easy to get to with local bus service. The owner offers pick up from the airport which I recommend. Arianna will help you with anything you need. This is close to local Klas Bakery for the morning coffee and a public beach near by for an afternoon. In a city of stairs this is good access, if I were to return to Dubrovnik I would absolutely stay here again , the view is spectacular

Good stop.

Very clean and roomy one bedroom apartment; host was promptly responsive to our needs. Nice view of the Adriatic from he side balcony. It's essential to order a driver from the airport if flying into Dubrovnik for the Big Blue. Hotel is a 15 minute walk downhill to the walled city and next to a major modern hotel with a casino. Also, Sixt renta-car is located in that hotel. Very convenient.
