Better then expected. Photographs online do not serve it well. Lot's of space to be round pool or in bar. Room was fabulous. Staff were kind and helpful and breakfast was fresh and delicious

Could not have been more satisfied with Royal Neptune, Staff was courteous and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, the view was spectacular, restaurants were easily accessible and food was delicious, transport was quickly available, Spa, Gym, 7 swimming pools, we had no disappointments.

We loved our stay at Royal Neptun. The bed was big and our balcony view was out of this world. The complimentary breakfast and private beach also added greatly to our experience. A few minor nitpicks include that the shower pressure was poor and it was hard to get the right temperature. Additionally, the mini fridge was stocked so full that when we opened it, several glass beer bottles fell out and shattered all over the floor. Maintenance took a while to come, and when they were done cleaning, there was still beer and a few shards of glass remaining. Aside from these things, we would definitely consider staying here again.

I give this about a 3.5, mostly due to the cost vs. value. First the good. Clean, modern hotel with enough decoration to provide nice ambience. Hotel is in Lapad, on a beautiful point with gorgeous, panoramic views of the Adriatic and the two island lighthouses guarding the harbor. About 15-20 euro to old town Dubrovnik. Or 2.5 euro per person by bus. Bus is directly on main road by hotel-less than 5 minute walk. Hotel has 3 pools and is part of a complex of 3 hotels by same company. Lowest pool is down by the rocks next to the sea. Lots of chairs among the rocks and entrances along a 200meter seashore and swimming area. No beach, just some access points between rocks to the water. One metal stair to water to the far left facing the water. Service is good. Room is ok. Big with large balcony. Smells strongly of cigarette smoke, don’t appear to be no smoking rooms. We had a Jr. Suite and the sofa pull out to bed was a humpback disaster. My daughter ended up sleeping sidewise on the bed with her feet hanging off. AirCond only goes to 20c, afternoon sun makes room hot even with shades Big bath, lots of closet space. Breakfast is buffet for all 3 hotels- super busy. Expect to wait 5-10minutes for coffee machines. Only 4 coffee machines and they are very slow, so long lines in busy period. Food is good, not great, with many options including gluten free bread, vegetables, etc. a bit light on fruit and no fresh juice. Almost Four Seasons level prices so i expected more.

This is a lovely hotel right on the beautiful Croatian coastline. The staff are all very helpful and friendly (special thanks to Dora on Reception who helped us sort out an injured pigeon on the roof - long story!). Breakfast is lovely. Rooms excellent. There is more than one pool and we liked the pool by the bar and the padded sunbeds are very comfy with no rushing to put towels down. We took ubers to Dubrovnik old town and paid about 9 euros each way. The number 6 bus goes there but looked very full coming home. If you walk down the path opposite the hotel, within 5 minutes you reach a few nice shops - souvenir, mini markets, icecreams and 2 or 3 nice cafes/restaurants we went to. We walked the old town wall which was great and we went when it first opened at 8 am as it got so hot later on. Highly recommend this excellent hotel.
