About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Walk to village, Year round access, Large deck, Swings and Enclosed dog run.

Charming 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath knotted pine cabin is just a few blocks behind the duck creek village and close to the beautiful Aspen mirror lake and duck creek pond stocked with rainbow trout ( both of which you can ride your atv to) This cabin features a Large open kitchen and living room floor plan with a Lopi wood burning stove, keurig and traditional coffee bar. Upstairs are all the bedrooms, bath and a reading/board game area. On those cold days keep toasty warm with the ultra heating Lopi wood burning stove. Large front covered deck / patio with Large outdoor couch cushion seating to watch the deer eat from the feeder on the property as well as just gazing at the stars from the duck creek elevation of 9,000 feet. There is also an outdoor electric outlet for charging you EV. The back deck has a (seasonal) propane bbq and individual seating. There is a double swing set and a tire swing in the back yard (seasonal). Feel free to walk the 1/2 acre + property and relax walking through the mature aspen and pine trees or just sit at the large cleared fire pit area (seasonal) with a cocktail and a cigar or cook up some s’mores. The flat graveled 200’ circular drive way allows easy access especially if your planning on bringing your trailer of atv’s or motor home. The cabin includes everything you’ll need to have a memorable stay. There is wifi (can have a weak signal at times in the mountains at this altitude) and a smart tv (Netflix, etc) in every bedroom including the living room. There is also a landline telephone for local calls. Just pack a suitcase grab some groceries and enjoy your stay.

PLEASE remember your in the mountains at over 9,000 ft altitude sometimes the power goes out, sometimes the Internet goes out, sometimes the weather changes without a warning and it gets very cold, you may have to improvise. You may have to force yourself to relax, to read a book, have a glass of wine, light a fire, play a board game, conversate and just enjoy natures beauty from the covered front deck. This may not be for everyone. However, most seem to really enjoy their stay in Duck Creek. I am always availible to try to help, assist and ensure you enjoy your stay.

JUST A REMINDER THERE IS NO SUBLETTING, THER IS A $100 PET FEE, NO HUNTING OR SHOOTING IN THIS LOCATION. THE ROADS AND DRIVEWAY ARE PLOWED FOR WINTER ACCESS BUT CAN STILL BE A CHALLENGE. ( 4X4 AND OR CHAINS ARE ADVISED DURING WINTER MONTHS). ALWAYS PLAN FOR YOUR DESTINATION.

Great location and cute property
He really enjoyed our stay. It was very cute and quaint. The location was perfect. My kids really enjoyed the swingset. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit, but maybe next time the deer feeder was a real hit with them. It was really nice waking up seeing them every morning. The only two downsides were the downstairs TV was not working and it was a little warm upstairs, but I let the owner know about these issues and he was very quick to fix them in the near future. We hope to stay there again sometime.

My family and I have stayed here multiple times and we will again! Joe the host is reachable at any time with any concerns (we had none this last trip) Be sure to bring a lighter for the fire and condiments with your groceries as there aren’t any (there were previous years). Thanks for the memories!

Winter surprise!
When we arrived, it was snowing and the snowbanks were more than 12 feet high. Road signs and house numbers were difficult to see. We had to call Joesph just to find the place! He was great, helping us out and kept the driveway plowed out. We were unable to use the outdoor area as the snow had buried everything (could only see the top bar on the swing set) We were not expecting it and were super happy that we had four wheel drive. We saw a lot of people stuck in the road snow. It was quite the experience!

Snowed out and no real help
I have nothing to say about the actually property, since we never made it thru the door. There was at least 6 ft of snow, which would have been fine for my 4x4 Ram 1500. However there was a fresh 6 inches that came down since they plowed that morning and we got stuck on the main road to the cabin. We were not even the only ones that got stuck, a local got stuck on the main road getting to his cabin. We called the owner and he asked me 3 tines what kind of vehicle I had and said the cleaners had no issue at 11. Our check in was at 4 and it has snowed again. He asked to send pictures and then never heard back from him. My suggestion don't stay here for spring break.

Cozy cabin
Cozy cabin, we are running a little bit late, and follow the GPS coordinates which took us to the cabin.. There are two ways to get there I recommend taking a right and going past the church do not take a left after you passed the true value hardware store unless the roads are absolutely ice free. We made a left-hand turn got about 250 feet up the mountain. The tires lost traction and we started to slide backwards at night. Thank God I was able to maneuver the van into a snowbank and slide the van into a forward position. Thank God we made it back down the mountain safely. everything was closed at 6 PM so we could not buy chains. We had to drive back down to Cedar Creek rent a hotel room. Woke up in the morning purchase chains. I highly recommend you bring chains with you or you may not be able to get to the cabin. we paid for the cabin for Thursday night even though we couldn’t get to it until Friday morning. Once arrived. We had to shovel a path from the driveway to the front door in order to carry the goods up. Back porch was completely snowed in so I shoveled that out as well. The cabin was cozy and clean. The host was amazing and responded to every one of my questions immediately. I would definitely go back there again only this time make sure that I’m Better prepared. Make sure you bring all your food items needed since everything there closes at 6 PM. Like I said the host was amazing. The cabin was cozy and clean and we look forward to returning in the future

We absolutely love this home. Very clean and cozy! We had our two pups with us and their favorite part was laying out on the porch enjoying the fresh air before or after exploring the trails. It was nice to have the gate on the porch too so we didn’t stress over them running after deer etc. The whole place was such a favorite of ours and we will definitely be returning on our next trip!

5 star cabin with everything you need!
Our stay at Meadow View Heights was amazing, relaxing, comfortable, and fun-filled. This cabin has everything you need for your vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil, spice, pan, and appliance you will need. The cabin is very clean and has plenty of space for a family getaway. The front porch has outdoor furniture to enjoy the view, wildlife, and the rain showers. This cabin worked great for adults to relax, while teenagers played basketball outside. The swing set was a life saver with an infant. The loft was perfect for a pack and play to allow the baby a quiet, dark place to sleep during the day. The BBQ on the back porch allowed us to grill our hamburgers and chicken, while enjoying the beautiful location. We will definitely stay here again! It’s a great deal and worth every penny. If you are not sure if this is the place for you, just book it! You will not be disappointed! Adventure awaits…click Book Now!

Beautiful space
This is a beautiful space with a lovely patio to lounge on. Great for weekend getaways and families. Only an hour away from both Bryce Canyon and Zion and plenty of hikes, lakes, waterfalls to explore within 20-30 minutes. There is a cute little are where you can go grab supplies. There were no paper towels or dish detergent so we stopped in and got some. One minor issue when we first arrived but the host was extremely quick to respond and reliable. Thank you so much for the stay!
