My husband and I wanted a place to stay with our teenage son and 2 dogs. We wanted someplace the dogs can run around, and we can walk/hike/bike. This was perfect! The cabin is amazing. It's rustic of course (no tv, ac/heat, dishwasher/disposal/laundry), but it has an amazing wood burning stove and fireplace. And wifi! AT&T cell data works there too though. The beds and pillows are comfy, the bathroom very nice (remodeled) and all the nice touches (e.g. lights by the beds with outlets easily accessible for phones, and chopped wood for the fireplace on the porch). Electricity by solar panels. We really enjoyed our days exploring the area and then coming back and having BBQ dinner and eating at the table and playing board games. Everything was pretty new still (all the kitchenware, the bbq, etc), so it was really nice. We met the owner, a very nice man, and he helped me wash one of my dogs when she rolled in a large cow patty (yay). We saw deer in the evenings and mornings, and enjoyed tea on the porch. It was quiet and lovely. The instructions were great, as was the information provided by the host. No problems getting there, but we were in an Xterra 4x4 and the last bit is on a dirt road. There are no amenities nearby - so bring everything you might need! A trip into Duck Creek Village is probably about 45+min away.
