Oceanfront Suite with Hot Tub

The private Guest Suite is located on high bank oceanfront property, offering a cozy intimate space overlooking beautiful Maple Bay -- we've recently added a hot tub to the patio area. We are within walking distance of Maple Bay Beach, and a short drive to pubs, restaurants and hiking/biking trails.

Studio is complete with full piece bathroom. Kitchenette includes a small fridge, induction stove top, microwave/convection/air fryer unit.

Please note: There is a set of brick stairs from the driveway to the house (see photos), as well as a stone pathway to the Guest Suite. May not be suitable for those with mobility challenges.

Peace and quiet in Maple Bay
The studio suite was very clean, uncluttered, and aesthetically attractive. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of water through the trees. Apparently there was even a wind storm while we were there but we heard nothing. The only thing we missed were walking trails. Walking was on the road and parks were a car ride away.

Lovely relaxing getaway
We really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted a relaxing weekend away for our anniversary. The suite is exactly as described, with lots of thoughtful touches. Bed is comfortable, kitchenette has everything you need for basic meals, the view is fantastic and the architecture of the house is very cool. Highly recommend

Lovely, immaculate, comfortable space is very pretty. There are a lot of stairs to get down to unit. Road has no sidewalks and is not good for walking. But, once in, the space is terrific.

Perfect suite for island getaway
The suite is very comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. The location is in a stunning region of North Cowichan, high above the channel with views through Arbutus trees to Saltspring island. There are lots of good gastro pubs in the nearby harbours. Kathy is a kind and thoughtful host ensuring we had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend to anyone wishing to explore this region of Vancouver Island.

Beautiful paradise!
Absolutely love this place… We enjoyed the touch of bananas and croissants with that lovely jam as well! It was absolutely stunning from your place… Beautiful restaurant down in Maple Bay! 2 mins away! I am a photographer and would love to send you some pics!!! Comfy bed and I would love to know where you got the ruffled lovely pillow cases!!! We will be back! The only thing I would suggest is maybe getting a screen door for the outside so you can open the door. There’s a lot of bugs can come in really fast here that would be my only suggestion but other than that, it was paradise!!! Thank you!!!!!

A Wonderful Anniversary Stay
The place was clean, cozy, and perfectly situated between Victoria and Nanaimo, offering an amazing view. We booked it to celebrate our wedding anniversary but encountered a misunderstanding about the property facilities at the beginning. Kathy resolved the issue quickly and professionally, making our night even better than we had planned. She even had placed some sweets to welcome us and congratulate us on our anniversary. In short, we enjoyed our stay, and Kathy was very responsible, responding to our questions immediately after we texted her. We highly recommend this place.
