We had a lovely family break. The hotel is located centrally so easy to walk to restaurants, shops. The only down point was how hot the room was, it made sleeping difficult even with the window open all night.

Very nice hotel - modern, good spa, good food, lovely breakfast and nice staff. Only downside - they are very needy - always sending you texts and emails in advance, when you check in - during your stay etc.. really annoying. Oh yes, and on our floor they left 5 cleaning trollies int he corridor which was also annoying. Overall though - a lovely place to stay and good value.

The whole experience was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff, both on reception and in restaurant. Room was very clean, bed and pillows comfortable and good quality. Food very good value for money. All in all, highly recommend.

I had a really lovely stay at the Apex City Quay - all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Both dinner and breakfast were lovely with lots of options to choose from - and I very much liked my Beano duck!! My room was very clean and tidy (as was the rest of the hotel) and the view over the water outside was really pretty.

Very nice at reception. The rooms are incredibly noisy . And to be honest could do with a refurb. I book for two yet only get one pack of biscuits come on I've paid enough for one night and that didn't include breakfast?. Maybe I picked a bad night but there were a couple of drunks outside who were swearing and trying to punch eachother?. Suppose if they were sober they would have connected. It is what it is but for a 3 star hotel it's getting a bit expensive for the city . There are better hotels there now and cheaper
