Macbay Retreat is a cosy, romantic holiday home, perched on a hillside overlooking Macandrew Bay with a fabulous view of the Otago Harbour.
Spend your days exploring the Otago Peninsula, enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside from a beautiful seaside village. Spending time at your own holiday home is also something to look forward to, with the opportunity of enjoying the outdoor views from the comfort of your bed.
This is a holiday home that still has all the comforts and amenities that you would require from a holiday home and more including a Smart TV alongside WiFi. Macbay retreat features a large Super King-sized bed that combines a living and dining area with a kitchen. In warmer weather step outside and enjoy your meals outside in the fresh air all the time whilst all the time enjoying views of the bay area.
With Dunedin being only a 15-minute drive away from the home, you’ll be able to stay connected with the rest of the south island. The nearest beach in Macandrew Bay is just a 2-minute drive away with the town having all the conveniences that you would require. Travel further up the Peninsula and see places such as Larnach Castle - considered by many to be New Zealand’s only castle. Right at the top, visit the Royal Albatross Centre, a nature preserve that has been beautifully looked after and would go down very well with any animal lover!

Guests should take care when accessing the property as there is a steep driveway and the footpath from the car port.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year.
