Very nice hotel with spacious rooms, nice aesthetic. Only two minor quibbles - the sliding door in our room was rather hard to slide back and forth and the sink drain was rather slow. Otherwise the room was great. Very convenient to lots of interesting places to eat (didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel's restaurant) and Metro only a few minutes away.

This property has the advantages of proximity to a great area, walkability, parking (though it's not cheap, but it's DC), and a quality restaurant. But, the best thing about it for us was how incredibly helpful and pleasant the staff was both before and during our five night stay. If you want all of the things I mentioned above - and a great staff to make your stay pleasant - this is the place for you.

All the ice machines were not in working order so we had to go to the front desk to get ice. Also, the refrigerator in our room didn't work and I had to call twice before maintenance arrived he then told us that it just wasn't turrned on and he would come back in a halt hour - I had to call again an hour later, it wasn't working and they had to replace it - after 4 hours of hassel on my part.

Hotel was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable - innerspring mattress that was medium firm with a pillowtop. We really enjoyed how the hotel itself was quiet, but the neighborhood had some activity. We were there Thurs - Sun. Thurs and Fri were perfect. Sat and Sun two of the elevators broke and the water pressure kept dropping mid-shower.

Overall good and efficient. Next time I will make sure the room is above floor 3 and not hidden behind the conference area. Otherwise you end up almost under ground in the back part of the building. Front desk staff should advise about that.
