Beware Black mold everywhere
Road is like driving in a riverbed. Blue tarp on the roof and apparent water damage in entire home. Had to leave after one night.

Magical Stay in Lovely Secluded Cottage
2-night simple stay with family ranging in age from 11 to 82. Everybody had a lovely time. Everything is easy, clean and ready. Angela is wonderful and responsive, giving us the heads up on everything we needed to know. Can’t say enough good stuff. House and grounds are exactly as pictured. Riverfront is magical. Exceeded expectations!

Great week away! Beautiful, secluded property and house. River was clear and right in the back yard. Perfect spot to put in a raft/tube, float, fish and enjoy the sunshine. Dogs loved it as well. Incredibly peaceful.

Excellent location on river; house condition is a problem
The location and outside facilities were excellent on the banks of the Beaverkill River. The host was extremely responsive to a couple of initial questions late in the evening of our check-in. The house has a large blue tarp nailed on to the roof. The host reported a tree fell on the roof and insurance negotiations are taking time. During our stay of 5 days, we had heavy rains that leaked through the roof and collected on the stairs to the upper bedrooms. Leaks appear to be causing the paint on the ceilings of the bedrooms, the dining room and the breakfast area to peel. There are also dark stains on the ceilings of the kitchen, breakfast area, and the main bathroom. I texted photos to some of the damage to the host. This is a very nice house that is overdue for extensive repairs.

Secluded Getaway
The cabin is well appointed with upgraded bathrooms, beautiful wood floors and a nicely equipped kitchen. The screened-in porch is comfortable and provides an outdoor option during rain. The yard has daily visits from deer, rabbits, squirrels and various birds. The river provides views of ducks and other waterfowl, fishing is very limited in the vicinity of the yard access, but kayaking here is very basic and relaxing. The single drawback we encountered was the access road, which is very close to requiring an suv or truck for ground clearances. Communication with Angela was great, overall it was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

A secluded getaway
While planning a fly fishing trip on the Beaverkill river, we came across this rental property and it fit the bill perfectly for us. Although the weather didn't cooperate as far as the fishing goes (temps were in the mid to upper 80's), the house remained comfortable inside for sleeping at night. House was as advertised and we enjoyed sitting around the fire down by the river. We saw deer, a bald eagle and various other wildlife. The road into the place was not in great shape but we had a pickup truck so it was not a problem getting in or out. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Ideal spot for a few days fishing
I rent cabins and houses in the Catskills often as a few friends and I enjoy getting together for some trout fishing and culinary adventures. This house is one of the better locations we have stayed at. World class fishing steps from the house and a very well appointed kitchen with everything you'd need to cook up something excellent! Overall a great property, clean and comfortable and our hosts were both responsive and accommodating to our requests.

Perfect for Fly Fishing
We stayed for five days and four nights and everything was perfect. The house and property provided a perfect balance between seclusion and proximity to town. Our favorite parts were being able to have campfires near the river while watching stunning sunsets along with direct access to the river for great kayak fly fishing.

Family getaway
Pictures don't do this property justice. It's simply beautiful and such a serene setting. It was perfect for our group of 6. Even though the weather didn't cooperate for fishing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Travelers just beware, if you're arriving at nighttime and using GPS, Waze took us to a spot across the river. Once we switched to Google Maps, it brought us to the gravel road and the turnoffs which were very accurately described in final confirmation email. Thank you for a lovely weekend, Angela, in your lovely slice of paradise :)

Great getaway house
Great find on VRBO - my family enjoyed the quiet, remote location for a long weekend getaway. House was very clean, pellet stove kept us toasty warm, and the kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking. Owner was very responsive with all communications - prior to travel and during our stay. Great family vacation!

The ideal October cabin experience
We went in hoping for a long weekend in a cozy cabin in upstate NY to enjoy fall festivities and this place did not disappoint. From the pellet stove to the all-clad kitchen, I could see myself coming back year after year. Could not have asked for a better experience.

What a View!
We had a wonderful stay in this home right on the river! The vista through the big windows was amazing. Even though it rained, we could still enjoy the view and the cozy atmosphere in the room with a pellet stove and view. We didn’t catch anything but the experience was awesome. The home was stocked with everything we needed for a perfect stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Peaceful Beaverkill cottage and fishing getaway
We had a wonderful relaxing 4 nights at East Branch. The host was welcoming and answered any questions immediately. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Comfortable sleeping and great outdoor seating choices. Lovely large stone patio, deck off the house as well as seating near the river. Easy fly fishing at the shore or wade in, with the right equipment. Many other great public spots to fish just down the road. Many beautiful mature tress on the property. Very private location. We saw eagles, woodpeckers and deer. Highly recommend - we will return.

Fishing trip
The house is well maintained and Angela was an excellent host. Access to the Beaverkill for fishing was perfect, just wish the weather cooperated a little better. My only suggestion would be a TV for the main living room. Going upstairs to watch TV while trying to tend to dinnet etc. Is a bit inconvenient. Overall it was a great trip and we will be booking again for next year.

The view of the back yard and river thru the ceiling high windows was our favorite thing. Extremely well appointed and very clean. Pellet stove was quirky but loved it after we figured out how to restart it. Deer came thru the yard almost every day. Angela was great at resolving issues.

Wonderful Stay
This home was just what we were looking for. Privacy and calm. The home was clean and welcoming. The yard was AMAZING right one the river. While we were there we had an inspiring experience of a bald eagle 15 feet away! There is a great fishing spot right up the road. We did some hiking nearby and enjoyed chilling by the fire-it at night. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to feel at peace with nature with all of the comforts of home. The host was easy to communicate with and we are grateful for our time in their home.
