The place is very nice but we booked here specifically for the EV charging and when we arrived we were told the chargers havent worked since the winter. There's no mention of that on the website...

This is probably my 5th stay at this location. This is a really good Hampton Inn hotel if you're going to Downtown Albany or around the area on the other side of the river. It's not a brand new hotel, but it is modern and everything works. The gym is well supplied, the pool is operational and basically operates as a massive jacuzzi. Breakfast is the ordinary easy made usual suspects, and you're close to a Wal Mart, Target and Starbucks and a cumulus of fast food restaurants within a short drive, or a Dunkin Donuts, a Cracker Barrel and a Denny's within walking distance (just be careful in crossing the street..) Not much else to say. Good illuminated parking, some noise will pass through the walls and floors. That's about it.

We arrived 30 minutes before checkin and was asked to wait 5 or 10 minutes so they could check if our room was ready. I reminded them that we asked for a handicapped room and they said yes I see that. We ended up waiting until shortly after 3:00 and was given a room on the second floor. Once all our bags were in the room I quickly realized that this was not a handicap room. I made the comment to the front desk and was told we got that room to accommodate our early arrival. If I wanted a handicapped room I should take all my stuff out of the room immediately and come back down to the lobby. As I was the only person. To carry bags etc we did forget it. So my husband was unable to take a shower during our two night stay

Very nice
Very comfortable stay and attentive staff. Nice patio with a grill available which was a bonus! Some nice added touches like citrus steeped water in the lobby and carryout breakfast bag.

Generally a very comfortable place. AC worked very well, bed was comfy, gym was well equipped. Stayed for 1 night while seeing a concert at Tanglewood. Only weird thing about the room was that there was a sensor light in the bathroom. This meant that when you walked into the bathroom in the middle of the night, it went off. It was especially dumb because it meant the nightlight also in the bathroom was totally pointless. The curtains were also slightly too short, which meant that light crept under in the morning. Otherwise, the light situation was great.

Everything here is 5 stars but we had to get bathroom supplies from housekeeping cart in hallway when we checked in. Second day I told housekeeper to pls refill lotion and she didn’t. Kudos to woman at front desk…upon check in your system was down bc of no internet, the line was long, it was hot, ppl were cranky yet she never lost her cool….or her professionalism or efficiency.

I am an emergency medicine physician traveling for work. I also have asthma and had asked before I arrived for room that had not had pets as a dangerous stays in the fabric. When I arrived and went to my room, I found that that was not the case and I could not breathe properly. the staff was rude, unresponsive, and despite the fact that I asked to speak to the manager that was refused. I did not stay. I went in the room, found out my breathing, was affected by their lack of hygiene, and I left. They did not either respond politely or provide any kind of refund at all.
