Had a great stay. Staff really friendly and helpful. The hotel needs a little tlc in places. It would help once been a very grand building that now needs some updating and maintenance in places. Its clean and comfortable and with a great verenda with sea views. Would stay again.

Another lovely stay. We particularly like the courteous and helpful staff, the large comfortable air-conditioned rooms, the value for money, the location - close to the front and its attractions - and the excellent breakfast. The excellence of the staff continued after our stay. They found an item we had left behind and made arrangements for return. The only criticism is that it is a little shabby in places and is in need of updating.

Had a great weekend right on the sea-front. Didn’t dine in because we were meeting family for meals but dining room looked enticing. Booked a small room which was clean and comfortable and good value. Well serviced daily. Swimming pool was small but a good temperature for a refreshing dip. Staff were most helpful and the parking permits are a real bargain.

Just a place to rest my head
I just stayed here to rest for a few hours in transit between destinations. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet and the shower good. So very happy I chose this hotel.

We really enjoyed staying here.
We had a perfect little two night stay. Walking the South Downs. Got upgraded to a really big sea view room. Great shower and towels etc. Bed was comfy there was a little fan to help cool us down at night. All staff really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault it tbh. We had the breakfast on the first morning which was nice more or less what you’d expect from a buffet breakfast, fresh croissant and pain aux chocolate was a nice touch. Very happy with whole stay.

A very tired hotel. Rooms were clean, but glass doors covered in finger marks, dirty carpets on stairs and landing. Gaffa tape holding carpet together in breakfast room.

Average stay for 3 nights
The stay is just Average i would say small double room,not very good window view next neighbour trash filed Up!😙🙄an "eye sore" tidy room every day but not cleaned bath sink and the shower handle got " a rusty " state that i am not sure why not cleaned properly.other than that the receptionist staff are good and helpful and Pool acess to use was good small pool though but refressing to used,not bad.
