A chocolate-box pretty cottage, full of history, charm and atmosphere.
Set in an idyllic village, moments from the South Downs, with wonderful walks, bike rides, picnics and sunsets practically on your doorstep. The beaches and theatres at Eastbourne are only a 10-minute drive and Brighton is also within easy reach.
For such a charming cottage there is a surprising amount of space.
How about sitting in front of the Inglenook fireplace in the cosy lounge, basking in the warm glow from the wood burning stove before heading out to enjoy the two country pubs in the village, with hearty food and local ales? There is a smart TV if you want to chill out with your favourite box set.
A separate dining room has a circular table to seat six while planning your next adventure, and a farmhouse-style kitchen is well equipped for self catering, with a big range cooker, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and plates and cutlery galore.
This downstairs floor also has a good-sized shower room and the back door opens to a private, courtyard style patio where you can enjoy coffee in the morning sun. An outdoor shed houses the washer dryer and provides a great space to store bikes if you're cycling the South Downs.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, sleeping up to six in total. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, built in wardrobe and leads through to the upstairs bathroom - complete with big tub to enjoy a relaxing soak.
Across the hallway is a double bedroom, and off this a twin room ideal for children.
Parking is on street and free of charge. Towels and linen are provided, plus WiFi. This property has a Friday changeover in peak season.
