This property was very convenient for our needs, as bird watchers who were spending days at the Wellfleet Audubon refuge. Room was spacious and serviceable. The fridge and microwave were perfect for our needs. Water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the beds were clean and comfortable. We weren’t looking for luxury in this trip — just reasonable and convenient accommodations, and that is what we found.

Advertised as a conference center, REALLY ? Rooms were clean, bathrooms were hardly large enough to turn around in. I should have checked other facilities before booking, the rate I paid was double what it should have cost, very disappointing. I would not stay there, or recommend it to anyone.

Very basic room but it was clean. One of the top sheets was ripped. A pool should not be advertised with this property as the water is green and disgusting. A door mat should be in the room to prevent tracking sand in.

I definitely got what I paid for with this property but it wasn’t bad at all. The service was lovely. My only complaint was that the floor hadn’t been swept or mopped. I walked barefoot for 15 minutes and underneath my foot was BLACK. I told the front desk and the next morning my room was cleaned and mopped. All was well. Lovely customer service, check out the coffee shop next door if you choose to stay !

Great central location to outer cape but the property needs work. Bathroom drain was clogged on arrival, shower faucet was a hack repair, towels old, room was about 90 degrees on arrival door mat not cleaned in a decade??

I’ve been staying at the Captains Quarters for years. Great location, the rooms are clean. This year I felt like it could use a little sprucing up. Paint job on the outside, new welcome mats and better shampoo.

Location was very convenient. 5 minutes away from the closets beach. Right next door to a great restaurant. Good hotel for the price. Only complaint is the floors were dirty. Floors were definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival.

The convenience was great. The pool area should have new umbrellas. We were very unsure about the pool and cleanliness but it was just the stone bottom that made it look dirty. It was so quiet which was nice. The rooms could have been a little more clean, stains on the wall and tape up high on the walls. Over all it was good and we would go back.
