Recently voted one of the world’s most exciting ferry rides your trip to the San Juan Islands promises beautiful views of mountains, forests and a close connection to the ocean. Glimpses of Orca Whales, Harbor Seals, Porpoises, and Sea Lions are not uncommon. Moderate temperatures make the islands ideal for all kinds of activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking and hiking. There’s no place more beautiful for recreation, relaxation and rejuvenation.

Relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets from our NEW larger deck at our beautiful home located in the VERY POPULAR Rosario area. Just 1.5 miles finds you at the entrance to Moran State Park with 5 lakes, hiking trails and Mt. Constitution. 2 miles in the other direction and you are at the beach front at Rosario Resort.

The open floor plan and southern exposure make this very comfortable and modern home light and airy.

The large master suite boasts a jetted tub and private access to the west facing deck. Step out on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee. With a separate full bath and queen bed in the guest room, this home is perfect for two couples. But a new sleeping sofa in the living room will provide for a larger group.

On your visit to our home on BEAUTIFUL ORCAS ISLAND you can enjoy Directv on our two High Definition TV's. We have Roku on both the Living Room and Master Bedroom TVs to enjoy your streaming services. High Speed Internet with a WiFi router makes it possible for our guests to access the internet from the comfort of our home or even from the large relaxing deck.

PET FRIENDLY!! Even your family pet will feel welcome! The deck staircase leads to a fenced in area for your dog to have some off leash freedom. Rosario Heights is open to visits for one or two dogs.

With our home located on a quiet private dead end road, this rural area and close proximity to the park often has visits from local deer.

Walk out the front door and in half a mile is the trail that circles Cascade Lake in Moran State Park. Rosario Heights is a wonderful place for hikers to hang their hats.

Nearby several trail heads are marked. Some of the park's trails are available to cyclists.

Enjoy a swimming beach not 2 miles away.

You can also hike or drive down the hill to Rosario Resort to find a waterfront beach near Cascade Marina, again not 2 miles from Rosario Heights.

Enjoy dining at the Mansion Restaurant at Rosario. In addition to this world class restaurant, there is an incredible lounge with a separate dining menu. Children are permitted in the lounge but not at the bar itself.

In nearby Eastsound there are wonderful places to enjoy Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Wonderful Stay!
This property is on a beautiful piece of property. The views are gorgeous. Love the picture windows all around the living/dining room so you can see out to those gorgeous views. Checking in/out was super easy. Everything we needed was available. We loved our trip to Orcas Island.

What a delight!
Everything about our stay was perfect. Rick was amazing. He responded promptly to every message, and called to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in was easy. The place was amazing! The view was fabulous. Great location, not far from town. Spacious. Great floor plan for two couples. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We sat on the deck every evening enjoying the the beauty of it all, the peace & quiet and said many times...we need to come back here. We've stayed in many rental homes and this is definitely one of the best. Thanks, Rick, for everything.

We all loved this home! It was clean, beautiful, spacious, had a beautiful layout, and was in a great location by Moran State Park. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and responsive, which just added to the overall positive experience. We were so sad to have to leave and will be back!

The property is well located on Orcas, close to parks, hikes, and town. Very quite neighborhood that lends itself well to relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view. By far the most attentive host I have ever dealt with.

Beautiful view with plenty of space
We were a family of 5 staying for spring break. The home has a beautiful deck and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. It was a great home base and close to Moran State park, Eastsound shopping and restaurants and had beautiful views. The home is very well cared for and would recommend to anyone visiting.

Nice spacious 2 bedroom house with a view! Nice and quiet neighborhood. Open space living/kitchen/dining room, large new deck, and a large master bedroom/bath with jacuzzi tub. Dog allowed with a fenced in area right off the deck. Moran State Park just up the hill with waterfall sights and the highest peak of the islands...more spectacular views! Wish we could have had more time. Very pleasant stay.

Our stay in Rosario was perfect and the house had everything we needed. Loved that it was dog friendly, the kitchen was well stocked, and the view was incredible. Loved ending the day grilling out on the deck and watching the sunset.

Long weekend on orcas island
We spent a long weekend here with our 2 children (10 months and 2 years old) and our dog while participating in a trail half marathon. Amazing views. Perfectly clean house. Has everything you need (we did bring our own baby stuff). Easy communication, helpful tips from the owners. Exactly as advertised. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back for a longer stay!

Perfect getaway
wonderful home! The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The views off the back deck were amazing ! The house was perfect for the two of us and our two small dogs. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved the convenience of the small fenced in area for the dogs.

Perfectly lovely!
We spent Christmas with our grown kids at Rick's home and it was beautiful! The home has everything you could need and the most stunning view ever! We did experience some power outages due to trouble on the mainland (thanks PSE!) but Rick was over the top helpful and accommodating to make sure we were ok. Can't wait to stay here again when the weather is better - the deck is amazing!

Has everything you need, including lots and lots of outlets for charging devices anywhere in the house. Appreciated having some coffee supplies already at the house. Discovered that there was a parental lock on the DirecTV though, meaning you can't watch some TV a regular adult might want to watch.

We really enjoyed our trip to Orcas Isle and our stay at Ricks home at Rosario. Beautiful views (my husband was able to do several nice water colors), Rumikub around the family table, sailing w Nat, fresh fish/shellfish at Buck Bay, nite time kayaking to experience the bioluminescent plankton, pottery at Orcas Island Pottey and topping it off w Whale Watching b4 heading back on the Ferry. Could kit have been better!

Quiet, cozy, and comfortable with gorgeous views!
My mom and I brought our little pups to Orcas Island for a change of scenery, and this home was just perfect. It was well-appointed and decorated, and very comfortable. The deck was beautiful and had amazing views of the water, islands, and forest. The home is in a somewhat secluded area which made it so peaceful and quiet. It was close enough to Eastsound and Mt. Constitution to make day trips a breeze. We had one day of beautiful weather and really enjoyed the deck, but a storm came through after that so we relaxed inside. The many large windows still gave us the beautiful views, however!! Rick was wonderful to deal with and even called a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. I would HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone wanting a beautiful change of scenery - this checks all the boxes!!

Relaxing & Peaceful Family Getaway
We had such a wonderful and peaceful vacation at this beautiful home on Orcas Island! The views were spectacular (we spent quite a lot of time lounging on the gorgeous deck), the location was quiet and well-situated, and the home was well-appointed and lovely! Our hosts were wonderful, reaching out as soon as we booked and staying in constant communication to make sure we had everything we needed - if we could give them 6 stars, we would. Since we wanted to bring our dog with us on vacation, it was important to have a dog-friendly spot, and this place delivered (she loved the deck, too!). We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to get away and have a peaceful vacation.

Spectacular View!
Spectacular views in a beautiful and quiet setting! We enjoyed relaxing on the large deck and taking in the scenery – the expansive water view, eagles, deer and wild flowers. The house had comfortable furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, and views from every window. It was enough room for two couples to easily share. Communication with the owners was seamless. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Orcas Island.
