Here you are on a small peninsula on the west side of the island of Funen in the Little Belt, where people lived as early as the Stone Age. Helnæs is a beautiful, scenic area in South Fyn surrounding the idyllic bay of Helnæs. There are many opportunities for fishing as well as hiking and biking, including the hills Bobakkerne and the meadow area Maden. In Ebberup (16 km) you will find a grocery store, and the next largest town is Haarby (20 km), where you will find several shops, pharmacies, etc. In the old market town of Assens (22 km), you will find many museums made for young and old and there attracts, among other things, the miniature exhibition of Assens or the soda museum. Visit the culture house Tobaksgaarden, here are always changing exhibitions, for example on the Battle of Hastings 1066. But the culture house also houses a cinema, a theater and a welcoming café, here you should definitely stop and try the delicious cake.
