"An ideal winter cabin location! The convenience of snowshoeing and sledding right out the back door was unbeatable. The open space and trails were perfect for our young kids. Quick access to multiple resorts allowed for great days on the slopes. The cabin itself was warm and inviting, with fireplaces for that added a special touch. We enjoyed cozy evenings watching movies and the kids absolutely loved their winter adventure. A perfect family retreat!"

"Great place for a small family. Fenced yard was big and great for our daughter and our dog. Covered hot tub was amazing after long days in the snow. Kitchen and living with fireplace great place for the fam. And having the bedroom upstairs was nice when putting the kid to sleep early. All around solid property "

"This was a peaceful spot on west shore with two bedrooms -- one for us and one for our kids. The communication with the owner and check in process were as easy as can be. The only constructive note is that some of the cookware was not quite clean (and the tea pot no longer whistles, so pay close attention to your boiling water!). Also recommend a little container to keep newspaper and tinder for starting fires in the fire place (thank you for the abundant wood). Minor details just to note - we had a wonderful week and are welling with gratitude!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Homewood. Easy access to Palisades, Truckee, Tahoe City and the lake just at the bottom of the road. The West Shore Market is 8 mins away and has (almost) everything you need for groceries. House was clean and has two primary suites- great setup for two families. "

"Great place for a family with all ages. Good Wifi and lots of things in the home to keep the kids occupied. Plenty of local spots nearby for food and fun. Be aware that with all the windows facing the lake the house got hot during the day and at night a little uncomfortable as all the thermostats were in hallways/open spaces that got cold at night causing the heater to kick on and make the bedrooms uncomfortable. Aside from that minor complaint the place was great for a large group"
