Nice hotel in good location
Decent hotel within walking distance of the city centre. Staff were all lovely, breakfast very good. Room pretty standard and the lifts were very slow, definitely could do with upgrading.

We were booked for 3 nights at the Leonardo and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Convenient location, great staff and comfortable rooms. Just wished the water pressure in the shower was better , but that’s my only complaint. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property is vast but in disrepair, the stairs to not take you anywhere and you are forced to use the lifts, there is only one lift working for alot of rooms so the wait can be 10-15 mins if it stops at your floor. The rooms are tired and not well kept, the heating did not work when it snowed and we arrived to a few sheets left on the toilet roll. The rest if the hotel has holes i. The walls and random cables hanging down, we were woken up daily by the slamming of doors and the cleaner talking loudly on their phone outside the doors… no please do not disturb here. Overall if you are paying a premium like we did dont bother its not for you. This makes travel lodge seem 5 stars

The hotel has some great points being near Haymarket station to name a few and I very warm welcome but the hotel also has a couple of bad points being limited number of lifts working, 13 pound breakfast if booked the day before but that's not the case for dinner plus lots of construction people staying at the same time making it feel very uncomfortable for guests, good points really do outweigh the bad but needs work

This was a well located hotel in the centre of Edinburgh and I have to say I couldn't fault anything with the hotel. Great parking, staff, room and food and I would definitely recommend this one as a base to use if you are visiting the city. The station is a very short walk also so great transport access.

When we arrived went to the room to leave our stuff as heading to Christmas market. When git back needed the shop so headed there first. We came back my son asked coukd he turn on the tv all the channels were bad so went downstairs to reception to inform them to be told that no other room have complained about the tv told him literally threw bags in the room as had plans. So went outside to go back to the room to find staff in the room where my 13 year old son was wasnt impressed about that anyway wasnt expecting anything to be done due to the time which thoughts was ok like get over it. Then 0600 the phone rings to say it my wake up call told them i didnt ask for one for the man said ya did and gave my room number was like i did not apologised put phone down so been up since 0600 not a happy person. Only thing they seem interested in this morning was my checking out. I wont be back there again 4* hotel but felt like 2* service. Also have loom roind the room not as clean as ya think lampshades

All round a good hotel and good stay. Would stay again. Slightly outside the main city centre but a short walk to the city and good transport links. Near Haymarket station so can get the tram from the airport if you prefer to a taxi. Lots of places to eat nearby and a bit quieter than the city centre. Wi-Fi was good and room decent enough. Bed was comfy and sofa bed for my daughter was good to accommodate 3 of us. Minor, minor down points. Some confusion at checkin about when to pay for a late checkout. Was remedied the next day and got a late checkout of 2pm for £35. Only other suggestion would be to enable the Wi-Fi on the room tvs to allow streaming services rather than just terrestrial and free channels. Not a big thing but would enhance the stay. Restaurant was better than expected although more expensive than local restaurants, so only ate at the hotel once, but food quality was good. All the staff were nice and very helpful. All round good and would happily stay again. 8 or 9 out of 10
