Great Oasis in Edinburgh
Great hotel. Excellent location right in the middle of everything so perfect to enjoy the Edinburgh fringe festival yet somehow still incredibly quiet. Friendly staff and made it wonderful to be able to leave bags there before we can check in.

Beautiful Apartment
Beautiful spacious apartment. Only down side was 72 steps up to room. So luggage must be carried up... we were told on arrival good luck carrying it up. There is no lift. We did get some night noise from alley / bar that was close to the property. Just need to weigh up the benefits of location, apartment - a lot of stairs to climb.

The location is wonderful! There is a coffee shop nearby! The apartment is clean and comfortable. The shower is off the kitchen which may bother some, but the door is frosted. The bathroom door reminds of a bank vault-very unique. You cannot stand in the loft area, but you’re only sleeping there. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location and apartment. It's an easy walk to the entire Royal Mile, and there are a ton of restaurants, bars, and shops. It was pricey but an excellent choice for a holiday in Edinburgh.

The only negative thing I would say is you have to park a half a mile down a hill which makes dragging suitcases quite the workout! And then there’s no elevator access so staying on the 5th floor when pregnant made for it a bit difficult. Otherwise it was fantastic!

Perfect accommodation
This was an outstanding apartment, very comfortable bed, everything we needed in terms of amenities, nice big thick towels and lovely body wash in the bathroom. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will be returning. 1-2 minute walk from the royal mile so was a great location.

A lovely retreat right off the Edinburgh Royal mile with cooking facilities, a washer to do your laundry, and a bit of space to spread out. It was a nice place to spend our time while not out exploring. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is excellent and the amenities are good. I thought the instructions to find the apartment and the keyless entry worked very well. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment 22 on the top floor (we had no issues with the stairs but some might) and whilst it was good it wasn’t exceptional. We did experience a very loud clanking with the plumbing which we reported immediately the morning after we arrived late the night before. We think someone did attend whilst we were out but the problem wasn’t fully resolved and meant that we had to gingerly move the taps in a way to avoid the noise. I’ve since read recent reviews on other sites that suggest this issue had occurred before our stay. On balance the location just about warranted the fairly high cost to stay but they really need to fix the plumbing (which I appreciate might be easier said than done on a flat at the top of an old building which has been renovated/retrofitted and converted.
