Really nice chilled out atmosphere. No stress staff are very friendly and attentive. Ive stayed before and if staying in Haddington its so close to everything. Im booking again for spring next year

Terrific staff, very kind and helpful. Breakfast which was included in the price was very good. Obvious upgrading going on with lots of work being done. Still very dated in some areas but look forward to coming again to see it finished.

Lovely place
Really comfortable bed, amenities are lovely and well kept. Due to this being and old building we could hear the people in the corridor as if they were inside the room, but nothing you can do about it. Bathroom has no windows and that makes it gather some mold in the ceiling, nothing too worrisome, just noticeable. Very quiet area with a lovely kirkyard in front and river

Good place to stay.
The room was nice and clean with some nice little extra touches. We found the food to be of a very high standard, and their small bar has a good selection of beers, wines and spirits.

Very noisy, a wedding disco was on until about 1145. Which is fine, obviously, but the walls/windows etc aren't sufficiently soundproof to have that event on without disturbing other guests.

Comfortable older hotel, reminded us a bit of Fawlty Towers! Good value for money, great breakfasts. Our room was well equipped but very small, about the minimum to accommodate two twin beds.
