Fantastic Stay!
I stayed for 5 nights and it was lovely. The staff was so kind and helpful, and the room accommodations were great! The bedding was very comfy (memory foam beds?) and the room was very clean. The hotel has a Crispy Crème and KFC right across the street, and a little further down is a shopping center with and Aldi and TK Maxx (which I’m glad was there bc I ended up needing to buy another suitcase lol). The tram station is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel and for 5 euro you can purchase a day pass to ride the tram as much as you’d like, which I highly recommend if you’re going to be exploring Edinburgh. Also, the tram goes to and from the airport! Overall, I will definitely be staying here again! It felt very safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay!

Lovelly clean hotel with very friendly helpful staff. The facilities were very good and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was plentyful with lots of choice and the restaurant food was excellent. We were particulaly pleased with the hotels location which was a 3min walk to the tram

This is the fourth and unfortunately the final time we'll stay here. The past few years this hotel has been outstanding but now it looks as though a policy change with staff has made this one to avoid. I had the worst dinner service I've ever encountered here, we sat for 35mins before someone even asked us for a drinks order, that was done at same time as our food order. The food turned up, starter's and main courses at same time. I had ordered a tasteless mushroom tagliatelle with chicken, i got 2 fork fulls before giving up. Our drinks didn't arrive until everyone had finished eating and when the waitress came to clear the table and I told her my tagliatelle was way below par she said "great, I'll be back in a minute". She didn't return. The next day i tried to speak to someone at reception and was asked to wait while the receptionist looked through a drawer of leaflets, which seemed to amuse her greatly, i gave up after waiting 8 minutes. That night we were all woken by loud, drunken guests at 1.30am who were having quite the party at the front door, right next to reception, this was allowed to carry on until 2.15am. Absolutely shocking for the cost of this hotel delivering such poor quality. The pool and lesuire facility upgrade this year in the hotel is one plus point, really nice throughout. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel can not hold up to the same standard. There is so much choice in Edinburgh, especially in this price bracket, my advice is go elsewhere.

Novotel Edinburgh Park Hotel is easy to get to & from the airport via the tram. It is about 5 stops from the airport on the tram and a short 5 minute walk from the tram to the hotel. There is plenty of on-site parking available for those who arrive with a car. The restaurant and bar are very nice along with the staff who are super friendly and attentive. The hotel is outside the main city center, so we had to take the tram in every day, however it was easy and convenient. Near the hotel there are some fast food restaurants and a shopping complex. The hotel employees and staff were very accommodating and friendly. It is a very clean and tidy place to stay. Would recommend staying here although it is a little outside the city center.

Hotel looks like new. Staff very helpful. Plenty of parking. Eay access to city center via the tram service which is very close, you can also easily access hotel from the airport via the tram. Nice swimming pool etc. Would stay here again if in Edinburgh

Hotel restaurant and common areas may be 4-star, but our accessible room /w queen bed was 2-star, quite small, missing basic amenities like USB charge ports, power plugs by bedside (expected in a 4 star hotel), and was overpriced. We paid $400.CAD / night, including breakfast for two. It's just overpriced for what you get. Being close to the airport ($15 GBP tram tickets for two from a nearby tram station to the airport) is no trade-off to warrant increased room rates, especially not for these small rooms with lacking amenities. Front desk advised us the majority of the rooms are same size with double or queen beds - no kings) and that there are only a very few larger rooms at higher rates than what we paid, but still with queen size beds. So we cannot recommend this hotel; we would recommend you find another hotel closer to city center, perhaps one with a warmer atmosphere, take same tram or taxi to airport, and pay considerably less.

friendly staff, convenient location where tram and train station is just 5mins walk away, there is also a retail park nearby. plenty car park space but you need to pay for it, you get discounted price though if you are ALL member, still I think they needto make it free for all the guest staying in.
