The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, especially the reception staff, the breakfast room staff and the evening doorman. The rooms are extremely clean and tastefully decorated .... and waking up to a view of the castle every morning was stunning.

The staff was amazing and very helpful with pointing us to different attractions … hotel is located in best location for walking and exploring Edinburg with many restaurants, cafes and pubs, we felt very safe here at hotel and surrounding areas … rooms were comfortable for two with two beds and two closets, rooms were clean … I will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Amazing experience for my birthday at this hotel. The room was beautiful, staff were very friendly and informative, and the restaurant, especially the Sunday roast, was delicious. Location is great as everything was within walking distance. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you!

Expensive room was not as described
We booked a very expensive room with a terrace and what was supposed to be city view. We were not told however that the terraces were adjoining to 3 others and offered zero privacy nor was there a view unless we wanted to view the side of a building with scaffolding.

This hotel was a very lovely place to stay. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit and if a bit far the bus was round the corner. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The fridge was very well stocked and we even had a bottle of water which was replenished every day. I would highly recommend
