Found a red stain on the carpet, I called the front desk to report and they explained they new of this stain and reassured me it was not blood. Everything is very dated at this location. When I was leaving, one of the rooms flooded and a portion of the hallway carpet was fully saturated with water.

I have stayed here a few times over the years being close to my daughter’s house. I always hoped it would be better. The problem is the key cards not working or turned off before stay was to end. This is very inconvenient, waiting in line after line to try and get the card activated only to come back to front desk to try again. I will never stay here again. The place is a dump, it stinks bad like sewage, it’s old, rooms not renovated and in rough shape. Staff play stupid about the cards yet it must happened all day long with everyone.

The rooms can use an update and deep cleaning. Smelt like cigarette smoke on Occasion, assuming the vents need cleaning. But, everything else was good. We used it for sleep and shower, nothing else.

The staff were so kind and friendly upon arrival, 10 stars to them. The room itself is a bit dated and had a lingering scent. The couch was a bit torn up and old. It was clean and the bed was comfy but that scent was noticeable the whole time so I don’t think I would rebook here for that.

This property was from the 80s. Smelt of egg a you walked into the front. Carpets were dirty, elevator was dirty, just whole placed felt like a seedy motel. Not staying here again. I’m amazed conferences would be hosted here.very poor standards for even a conference.

I booked this place for my parents to stay, as there was an event for social club. My issue was with one of their staff. The check in was a horrible process. The lady (I can't remember her name), wasn't the most accommodating person to speak to. I didn't have a credit card on me, but a debit Mastercard. (I was able to use this card to book the room) She kept saying outloud how I should have a credit card and that all hotels require a credit card and I cannot stay in a hotel without one. I didn't really appreciate that unnecessary lesson being said so loudly. (I am a Hilton Member and book all my rooms with the same debit Mastercard that I have, and it works). Then, when I had to do the security deposit, I had to pay $250 instead of the $100 because of no CC. I didn't mind that and was fine with it, but she had the audacity to ask if I had $250? I felt so judged and I didn't think I looked a certain way to question that. Everything eventually worked out, but it took SO MUCH longer than it should have. The Check-out process was a lot smoother. I didn't have the same person and he was much friendlier and more accommodating. Pros: The view is nice. It's overlooking the Kingsway area. The room was booked on the 14th floor so it was nice. The ambience is calm too. This is an older hotel, but a nice one.
