Walking into the hotel there was a ton of people who looked like they struggled with addiction smoking and hanging around. Made us feel very uneasy and then walked inside to a security guard which again gave us the feeling of safety issues. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The room smelled like smoke and had burn holes in the pillow cases and on other areas of the room. The breakfast room was so small and cramped and very little offered. The hot tub and pool was roped off and unable to be used not that we would anyways. Everytime we went to take the dog pee there was addicts in lobby and entrance smoking right by the door so you had to walk by their cloud of Smoke to get out. Wouldn’t stay here again. It’s gone down hill since we stayed 8 years ago

No. Just, no. Stay away
From start to finish, horrible. My room smelled like an old smokers house mixed with urine. There was hair in my bed and on my pillows. The a/c didn’t work and there was only a teeny window to open. The temp in the room stayed at a balmy 28*c which was horrible. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and the toilet stopped flushing. I let the front desk know but no one got back to me. This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.

You get what you pay for. Its a convenient location and the staff were wonderful. My room was clean and comfortable. However, it seems to be busy with people outside smoking by the entrance and lots of people in the lobby area, just hanging out. The pool was nice, but unfortunately the water slide and hot tub weren't working.

I booked a room here sept 24 for the night and we arrived, went to our room, on the ground floor, after maybe an hour i was ready to go to bed and seen BED BUGS on the head board, so gross i went to the front desk, he apologized for the inconvenience, tried to say cause its a pet friendly room sometimes it happens and offered a room on the 3rd floor, not a good excuse and nor was i notified it was a pet friendly room, i didnt want to but it was 230am and i was so tired i checked all around the room, it seemed fine so we stayed, they gave me a full refund but that doesnt make up for that experience, if any of those things make it home with us, our property could potentially be ruined. I dont recommend anyone to stay here til the problem is posted and dealt with.

Check in, check out and overall stay went well. However, was quite disappointed the HOT TUB was out of service. This is one of the key features i enjoy about the hotel and continue to stay when visiting Edmonton. For futures, would highly recommend being informed of this BEFORE booking room. Please note, the night desk person was very considerate of this concern and offed me a reasonable discount for the room. It was appreciated.
