Nothing bad to say apart from it could be cleaner. I'm not a fussy traveller but I know many people are who wouldn't like this hostel due to the rooms needing a good sweep
My experience was seriously uh-may-zing! The people working at the hostel are SO nice. They help you find transportation options for getting around Beirut as well as to/from the hostel. They also have super good recommendations for things to see and do. Aside from that, the whole atmosphere is SO welcoming. Everyone there is super friendly, and it's really easy to go out and do stuff as well as meet amazing new people and other world travelers. Regardless of what walk of life you're in or from, this is the hostel in Beirut for you. I can't recommend it enough! (Also, as a solo female traveler, I felt SO safe there and in Beirut in general.)
I really enjoyed my short stay at Hostel Beirut. The staff were super helpful & everybody I met was very nice. I really enjoy staying at hostels & meeting new people when I travel. However, I was a little bit worried as this was my first stay at a hostel in Beirut. However, the experience was really good as any other hostel in the US or Europe. The staff were very kind & helpful; it was really nice meeting you "Maryam" & "Shady". I definitely recommend this hostel for any back packer or any traveler on a budget. Plus I actually met really nice people from "France", "Germany", "Austria", "USA" & "Canada". We went out together on New Year's Eve & it was a really crazy night which I enjoyed a lot. The girls even cooked dinner for us which we all had together. Good job "Hostel Beirut" team & definitely this will not be the last time to stay with you. Until we meet again. Love, Ahmed from Egypt.

It was a nice experience being in hostel Beirut. The stuff are friendly and helpful. Common areas are the best about this hostel and also the location is very good where you can find nice pubs, bars, restaurants and nice boutiques.
the staff is excellent and helpful. the hostel is situated in good and quiet location. But the shower room and toilets' equipments are old and some are not in good condition.
Meilleur endroit pour rencontrer d’autres voyageur.
Les dortoirs ont par contre besoin d’entretien.
