Obstructed view cabana
The cabanas are a good alternative to hotel in town stays usually for me, but in this case I honk in town is better. The cabanas are across the road from the lake and the low level of the lake makes for a great area for bird watching including Pink Flamingos. But an issue I had was we were given a cabana with an obstructed view. There are 4 cabanas with two being waterfront and the other two behind them. Although one or both of the front cabanas were not occupied most nights, we were given a back obstructed view one. Why?
It is a common issue when booking with hotels.com to get the inferior rooms even when better ones are available.
The hosts were great and friendly. I was just a little put off with the inferior cabin.
