Sewer head backed up in first floor. Fire escape stairwell on one side of the building was blocked, elevators were broken for more than a week, sewer smell everywhere and bathrooms on bottom floor were closed

The check in is always the starting point of a joyous and wonderful stay. I had to wait almost an hour to get checked in when there were other employees who could have jumped in to make sure there wasn’t such a long waiting line. Over 45 minutes later, I was given a room that I did not reserve for. The rooms were simply not ready.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The two rooms that I got were clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and well rounded. On the other hand - I got stuck on the elevator, My son got stuck on the elevator. Not just once, but two, three, four times. To the point where it was scary and we wouldn't take our 2 year old on it. We used the stairs at the far end of the hallway with her. We only used the elevator for luggage. We had two TV's in my room. Great! Neither of them worked! not so great, especially when I was taking care of my granddaughter and wanted to play some cartoons or maybe watch some football on a Sunday early in the afternoon! They tried to fix them. No luck. They tried to find another room. No luck. It all took a bunch of time and really disturbed what we had hoped would be a gentle, restful night in-between long drives. I'm afraid to say I will have to check out other hotels before returning. Sorry.

Everything was fine except on day we were leaving we got locked out of our room. the lock inside the room was stuck and we could not unlock the latch, maybe another type of inside lock would be recommended. Other than that, loved the cleanliness and breakfast and everything else, very much recommended and will stay there again!
