Relaxing, charming hotel with an excellent bar.
This place was wonderful. Cerocahui is a small town, but the hotel is right off the center. The buildings are old and very charming, but have had upgrades to make them more comfortable. There are no TVs in the rooms, no internet in the rooms, and extremely limited cell service everywhere in town. Which is to say it’s an excellent place to disconnect and unwind. High-speed internet is available in the lobby, which was great for catching up on news, messages, emails, and sending out photos. Breakfast is included, and it was delicious. It included coffee, juice, fresh fruit, muffins and made-to-order eggs. Lunches and dinners are available. We had one dinner. Flavor-wise it was amazing, but the beef was over-cooked. The bar is wonderful. In addition to their own wines and the usual selection of Mexican beers, the bar keeps crafted some amazing cocktails, including traditional drinks and more regional cocktails with things like Sotol. If I were to stay again, I wouldn’t spring for the vineyard-front room. The vineyard itself is quite small and the view isn’t worth the extra cost. The other rooms open into a lovely courtyard, which is very lovely. My only criticism is that the hotel doesn’t take any cash. It seems to be a common theme among all the Balderrama hotels. It wasn’t so much of an issue here, as we could easily bill things to the room and pay with a single card transaction when we checked out.

The Expedia description was accurately presented. It's a perfect place to stay when visiting El Fuerte and hopping on/off El Chepe. If you need a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to spend the night, Mansion Serrano is your place.

El horario para usar la alberca es muy limitado, no puedes usarla de noche, tampoco podras hacer mucho ruido al usarla si la habitacion de junto esta en uso, el ambiente es muy tranquilo.

Hotel cómodo y tranquilo
Habitación colonial cómoda, minisplit enfría muy bien, alberca refrescante y desayuno rico. Fue una estadía aceptable. El reglamento de hotel pide a huespedes no tener musica a alto volumen y es bueno cuando quieres descansar y pasar noche tranquila. Lo único por mejorar es habilitar el estacionamiento para autos ya que se encontraba cerrado.

Un lugar muy bien conservado . No pudimos usar la alberca porque un día antes había llovido muy fuerte y enturbió el agua ( cosa que está fuera de control ) la habitación muy amplia con todos los servicios funcionando .

El único pero que le pongo, es que la alberca la cierran a las 7pm y siendo periodo vacacional deberían extenderlo a las 9pm Todo lo demás muy bien, habitaciones amplias y limpias, instalaciones igual.
