Staying in Casas Rurales was one of my most charming travel experiences. The private house was decorated in whitewashed cream furniture, had rounded soaring ceilings, walls painted a beautiful blue and cream, and reddish purple accents. I was in heaven. I had my own private patio and locking gate. The view was spectacular........hills, trees, luscious plants and blue skies.
The houses are located next to the immaculate white hill town of El Gastor. There you can find restaurants, town square, lovely church, museum, and charm at every turn of the winding streets. It is also a short drive to the Pileta Cave which has Paleolithic drawings.
