The Hotel Dann is beautiful. The staff are pleasant and friendly. The walk to the beach is great, you do have solicitors asking for you to check out their business or rent an umbrella. But a simple and respectful, no. They don’t bother anymore. Beautiful room with an amazing ocean view. I really enjoyed this hotel and can’t wait to return!!!

This hotel was absolutely perfect! Great room, great food, wonderful pool to relax in, and most of all the staff!! Angee is the amazing woman at the desk that helped me throughout my stay to not be nervous about traveling alone. Also breakfast with Luis and Jesus was like eating with old friends. Last but not least Carlos the security man at the pool helped me with beach protocol and a taxi whenever I needed one. I really love this place. It was one of the best vacations I’ve had in a long time! Muchas Gracías por todo!

Hotel Dann surprised us! We had an outstanding stay. Everything was wonderful - the staff is courteous, warm and knowledgeable. Manuel at the front desk, Albert at the pool bar, Betty at the restaurant, the doormen, they were all wonderful (I don't have all of their names, unfortunately). The property is in top shape - I am very picky and couldn't find a spot that they don't maintain properly. The guys were cleaning the inside edges of the pool everyday!! I've never seen this! The breakfast is amazing, all that you can ask for, and varies a bit everyday just so it doesn't become boring. Fresh food, fruit, made to order omelets, all that you need and then some. The location is excellent - walkable, with a lot of conveniences around (supermarket, pharmacy, banks, shopping, and several restaurants within 2-4 blocks). We always felt safe, police presence throughout Cartagena is strong; you can take an Uber and be in the Walled City (El Centro) in 10-20 minutes depending on traffic, for about US$6-10 at the most. We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10.

Regresaremos definitivamente. Olvide escribir los nombres con los empleados q más hablamos. Pero felicito a todos porque son tan cordiales y profesionales y atentos en todo lo q necesitas . Dios me los bendiga a todos. Definitivamente es lugar perfecto para parejas, familia , amigos. Cuartos muy espaciosos limpios lo único q faltaba eran más gabinetes para poder guardar la ropa y no dejarla arrugarse en la maleta. Y les cuento el desayuno Dios todo los días deliciosa q sabor tan auténtico y mucha variedad picina súper grande y muy limpia me encanta q no se siente el cloro creo q no tenía la limpian todas las mañanas puedes caminar a restaurante ñs, tiendas y acceso al trasporte en la puerta . Ya quiero regresar .

The only thing I didnt like was that they tried to charge me for hotel toothpaste that was never in my hotel room. Even if it were, I never use hotel hygiene products so it would not have been touched.

Loved our stay. The staff was all very friendly! When we had a problem the staff at the main desk was always able to help us. The pool was well maintained and very enjoyable. Our only thought would be more umbrellas around the pool! The week we were there, they had a guy cleaning the outside of the building. It was very fascinating to watch, however, when we went back up to our room we had puddles inside our room, by the windows and door!! It was a fun stay. It is always hard to book a vacation online not really knowing the area or hotels. I was really happy with our choice!!
