Summary:
Moderno Velo is a "spare no expense" personal resort, with premium quality furniture and artwork used in every room. The main floor living area features a beautiful leather section, and reading chair, and the dining area off the kitchen comfortably seats 8 guests. There are also 2 barstools at the kitchen island allowing friends or children to join the cooks in the kitchen as they prepare the meal. The remote control gas fire place with large screen TV above provides a relaxing atmosphere while guests spend time together and enjoy one another's company. Ceiling mounted colored LED lighting provide a unique modern ambience not found in other homes. The kitchen is fully outfitted with pots, pans, appliances, and everything you would need to cook any kind of meal.
This home works well for couples, families, business executives, or two or three families sharing accommodations while in El Paso.
Less than a block away is a trailhead to the base of the Franklin Mountains which allows guests to experience phenomenal mountain biking, hiking or trail running throughout their stay in El Paso. Nearby Whole Foods, popular restaurants such as Ripe, Grove, Little Shack and D'Lox, microbreweries, and a Trek superstore make this property an ideal location for your next trip to El Paso.
Guest Access:
Moderno Velo can be a bit tricky to find since Google Maps does not seem to have the location correct. From Redd Road head East up High Ridge Drive. Make a left on Franklin Hills Street and then a right on Franklin Bluff Drive followed by an immediate left on Franklin Dove Ave. Follow Franklin Dove Ave to Desert Mirage Place and make a left. Home is at the end of Desert Mirage Place. WARNNG: Google Maps does not have the location correct and will have you turn off Franklin Dove Ave prematurely, make sure to follow Franklin Dove Ave all the way to Desert Mirage Place. Mapquest does have the location correct.
The Neighborhood:
Moderno Velo is located in a very upscale neighborhood in El Paso, Texas consisting of all custom homes in the $400k to $2 million price range.
Other Things to Note:
Our software automatically discounts 10% for weekly stays and 20% for monthly stays and our posted prices is our best price, so please do not message us asking for a "special discounted rate."
The locks, the cleaners and our maintenance personnel all work on an automated schedules based on our published check-in time and check out times. In addition, we only have a narrow 5 hour window to prepare the property between the posted checkout time and the posted check-in time. For these reasons early check in or late checkout is no longer free and "may" be able to be purchased at a rate of $20/hour prior to check-in time, or $20/hour after listed checkout time.
We accept dogs not cats for an additional $100 nonrefundable pet fee

This property has a front doorbell camera as well as a camera above the garage that points to the driveway. These cameras are remotely viewable and record upon seeing motion. These cameras are not actively monitored but acts as a safety devices to track and record who enters and exits the home should there ever be an issue. This cameras are very conspicuous and these are the only camera located at this property.
