We had a beautiful experience at cedar lodge. They have the river close by and a market in lobby. We enjoyed the indoor pool, jacuzzi and game room.

The internet was very unreliable. They do have a disclaimer that the speed will be slow if there are many users but it was always slow and unreliable. Even at noon when most people were outside, it was still pretty bad. Definitely not a place if you want to do some work from the room

No frills hotel with great customer service. My only concern is that they don’t use bottom sheets on the beds, only top sheets. So if you move around you’re exposed to the bare mattress, which raises sanitary concerns for me. However, the customer service far surpasses the Ahwanee, which is supposed to be a four star hotel.

The surroundings are great but staff isn’t accommodating. They placed me and my friends in a room where there’s no Mountain View when we clearly booked the one with a Mountain View. I even booked a two-bedroom for the next day and yet, staff didn’t upgrade.
