The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, the river view was amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

This is so close to Yosemite! Being in the Merced River is so pretty. Pizza Parlor is pretty good too!

Nice stay...Clean Rooms...Good restaurant.
Stayed 2 days. Location relative to Yosemite was why we booked. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Had issue with shower, but quickly came to fix. Ate at restaurant and food was good. Appreciated having restaurant/store on-site.

A Decent Hotel close to Yosemite NP
The hotel’s location is excellent, just a five-minute drive from the south gate of the park. There’s a small supermarket nearby, and the hotel itself has a decent restaurant. The balcony overlooks the beautiful Mercedes River, offering stunning views. However, the cleanliness of the bedding could be improved, and the shower in the bathroom is not very functional, with poor water flow.

Everything was great except for Gardner blowing leaves for extended amount of time and they were doing maintenance on two rooms next to us which cause an odor into our room

Yosemite View Lodge
Nice place to stay. Literally 5 min to the park entrance. I didn't try the restaurant (im sick so food bleh)…the menu looked decent. The merced river running literally right behind the hotel was amazing. Seems like every room had a balcony w/ chairs, view of the river. Room was clean. The bathtub could have fit like 10 kids in it. Water was hot. Decent amount of parking. Elevator to help get your stuff up/down from the room. There was also at least 4 outdoor pools (closed for winter). I did see an indoor pool people were using. You would need to ask about that. The only thing I didn't care for were the bed pillows. Way too soft for my preference, but other than that an overall good place to stay…& yes they allow dogs to stay as well.

Pluses: closest hotel to Yosamite gates, plenty of parking, nice and helpful staff, large room, nice beds, nice fireplace. Minuses: room badly in need of renovation, entry door had 1 inch gap and missing gasket, kitchen stove top barely hot to be able to cook, ants in bathroom, no exhaust or heating element in bathroom. Hotel's restaurant way overpriced due to lack of competition. Definitely not worth the price.

As our first time in Yosemite.. the location is perfect! It was only a few minutes from the entrance. I preferred it as it was next to the water!!! I loved seeing the creek everyday from the balcony. So peaceful and quiet ! The room itself is spacious with a kitchenette- perfect for a couple. We made our breakfasts and even dinner in the room. Overall it was clean and lovely staff. The only downside is the condition of the bathroom. The shower curtain were so short so everytime we showered.. water got all over the bathroom.. even with the water pressure being so low. Other than that, it was overall good for the price 👍
