We were quite disappointed in this hotel, especially considering the price. The rooms were extremely plain, without even a chair or much space to put your things. We had to have our suitcase on the floor. If it had been labeled as a plain, rustic place, we wouldn't have minded, but it was way over priced for what we got.
The staff were not unfriendly, but not very attentive or communicative. They asked if we wanted to give a tip when we checked in, which felt uncomfortable and not something we would give before receiving services.
The worst part of our stay was that we barely had water for the entire time we were there. We could only shower once and in almost freezing water. We spent a long day cycling and then hiking and couldn't even wash, take a shower or use the toilet. At no time did the staff inform us of what was wrong or even apologize. We had to ask on multiple occassions and were simply told the water wasn't working and we'd have to wait for the reserve tanks to kick in. Even when we finally got water, it was only cold.
A few good things about the hotel were that it was very convenient to the main street and the surroundings were pretty and well kept. The parking was easy and the included breakfast was good. The bed was also comfortable and things were clean.
Unfortunately, for the price, I wouldn't recommend this place. If it were cheaper and with no water problems it would be a fine, simple hotel.
