Helping handicapped people better.
My room was for handycaped people. There were two things that I think could have served elderly and handycaped people better. The bed was way too high to get in comfortably. Most of us have to get up several times a night. Loved the walk in shower. However the floor was slippery and not level. Danger for us! The tailings were great but the floor not so much. I am not severely handicapped so managed but could not help thinking how someone who is would manage. Just food for thought.

Passing through
Passing through Kentucky I stay the night instead of driving late in snow. The night audit was great. The room is worn but fine. The refrigerator was very loud so I turned it off. The television worked and had a lot of stations. Breakfast was alright. The elevator was out of order but I prefer the stairs anyway. I would stay here again.

Close to restaurants. Breakfast had variety and was hot and plentiful, new shower in the room we had was very nice. Currently elevator is down for repairs so if you have a disability that you can’t climb stairs, this site may not be for you.

Poor fitness room
For all the driving that I had to do on this trip, I wanted hotels that had a fitness rooms and treadmills so I could get moving after sitting so long. At least this hotel had a fitness room (one hotel said they did but lied), but the treadmill didn’t work. What bothered me the most was that the staff knew but didn’t say anything at check-in or put a sign up. In my opinion, if you advertise a fitness room, make sure everything is in working order. I would never had booked this hotel had I known that I couldn’t get some walking done. There are many other comparable hotels in the area that I could have booked. The only exercise I got was going up and down the stairs because their elevator didn’t work (they had signage for that along with the dates it wouldn’t be in operation so I didn’t mind).

Great room for the price! Employees very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and accommodating. We stayed for one night traveling on our way home. Great location-restaurants nearby and relatively quiet.

Great Place
Older hotel, a little worn. Elevator was broken and my suite was on third floor. Room and hotel was super clean. Bathroom had been remodeled. Two modern tvs. Breakfast was typical of these type of places but with enough varity to please most people.
