Check in was quickly and easy, property/room was clean, bed was comfy, and we got a great rate. The free breakfast wasn't bad either. All-in-all, it was a great value. We'd stay again!

I think only thing that could be an improvement would be the breakfast options, yes sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and potatoes are good. But bacon or some other options would be great. Also having both side doors locked is an inconvenience for most that have rooms on certain sides. But other than that we really enjoy staying here every time we come to Elk city to visit family.

I did not check in. They refused to agree to a refund when Expedia app jumped during my reservation pushing the needed hotel night stay out by over a week. I was moving driving across the country and needed a room that night. I ended up being forced to pay for two reservations even though I tried to get it fixed with one minute of the booking. Evidently someone at the hotel is using the room I paid for now because I'm getting how was your check in emails. Great. Let's hope this business doesn't hurt me out of more money when I'm a thousand miles away from the hotel.

Honestly I wanted to like the place, we had just driven 13 hours from Ohio and just wanted to sleep. We showed up at 1am. The first room we were given hadn't been cleaned, so we went back down to the front desk to ask for another room. When we got to the second room, the door was open. It appeared clean enough and we were so exhausted, we decided to just deal with it. The room itself was fine, decent enough bathroom and presumably clean enough sheets. There was, however, and constant beep coming from somewhere we couldn't figure out, so we had to sleep with the TV on. Overall kinda wished we had spent an extra $10-20 and booked a different place close by

The only thing I don't like about the property is that my GPS system always tries to take me to the hotel across the street. I've stayed here more than once, and the same thing happens every time. But, once I arrive, I find the hotel itself to be clean, comfortable, economical and most importantly for me...dog friendly. Note: if not staying on the 1st floor, you do have to navigate the elevator; thus, parking is not right outside your door. That said, I do absolutely recommend.

First assigned room, the television wasn't working. They moved us to another room that didn't appear to have been cleaned. Garbage left in a trash can, dirty Kleenex next to bed, dirt on the pillows, carpets didn't appear to have been vacuumed, wall stains in bathroom, desk top very sticky from something spilt. Told desk clerk and she was very apologetic. My wife slept on top of the covers in her street clothes as sheets didn't appear that clean either. Very disappointed. Cleaning staff aren't doing their job!

The room we initially checked into smelled like dog pee and we had to get some spray from the front desk to make it tolerable. Then the cable wouldn’t work and even though the front desk clerk tried to fix it, it still wasn’t working. We got switched to a different room and it was cleaner and had a working tv. Both rooms had bathrooms that were desperately in need of proper repair. The drywall or plaster had been poorly repaired all around the tub, the toilet seats looked like they were older than I am (completely discolored and paint chipped), and the ceilings had water damage and peeling plaster. This was the same in both rooms we were placed in. Our bed was very unsupportive. I woke up after 2 hours in excruciating back pain. I couldn’t wait til breakfast! At least the bed was clean. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, toast. There was a little of everything.

The location was mostly quiet even though it is close to the highway. It was a little confusing to find because the entrance street wasn’t obvious. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was better than most other places I’ve stayed with similar prices. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is an excellent Itallian restaurant a short walk away.
