We rented one of the cabins for our family stay. The manager was very proactive in calling us to make sure we knew that the accommodations were rustic, which we appreciated. The cabins were indeed basic, which was fine with us, but unfortunately, there were mice running around inside. We did not want to spend the night like that because we have small children. The manager was kind enough to let us switch cabins to one that seemed to have fewer mice, but they were still there. Of course, this place is in the woods so mice are not unexpected. We just weren't comfortable with them running around inside the cabin. Incidentally, we did not bring any food in the cabin, but it's possible that previous occupants had, which may have been attracting the mice. We did appreciate the manager's help in finding a solution.
