The property was very welcoming and clean. Some members of the staff, their breakfast server/cook was abrupt. Think... the soup guy in the Seinfeld series. Otherwise, I enjoyed staying here. I would recommend it to a friend and would stay there again.

The only reason we stayed was because the kids wanted to swim, and the pool was supposed to be 24 hours. I reserved the room and payed through the Expedia app, so I didn’t know the pool was shut down. It was posted on their website but not on Expedia. Was told that breakfast was served until 10am. We went down at 8:50 and waited by the breakfast spot for about 5 minutes finally the front desk staff went and got the breakfast people and they were out of food. So we didn’t get so swim or eat breakfast.

I frequently travel to Elko, NV, and Shutters Hotel has become my new go-to place to stay. The property is clean, modern, and pleasantly quiet—not busy at all. My room was both peaceful and spotless, making for a comfortable and restful stay. The staff was professional and incredibly helpful, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommended!

Renovated clean and quiet. Never sure what an off brand hotel will be like but this place far exceeded expectations. Beds were comfortable. They could use a less powerful scent in the rooms- I’m sensitive to scent but I’d dissipated quickly - that’s about the only negative. Pool and facilities were down for renovation but it was noted on the web and on the reservation so it was known and expected- which is far better than all the other chains who don’t tell you this when you book.
