We didn't know there was a hotel in Ellensburg on main street. Was really nice, close to shops and eateries. The only problem we had was with parking. The only parking they have is caddy corner behind the building and was limited. There probably would be sufficient space if guests were considerate and didn't double park. Arrive early and walk. Ellensburg is a safe walkable town. We arrived at 5:30 on a Monday night and all spaces were full with exception to 4 spaces were other guests double parked, making it difficult for others arriving. Other than the parking, it was a really great spot.They do not serve breakfast in January, not what that is about; but very comfortable and quiet stay.

We have stayed at Hotel Windrow for the past two years. Our daughter plays volleyball for CWU so we have stayed several game nights. The staff is always friendly and helpful both in person and anytime I’ve called with questions. They have a nice little wine bar near the lobby. My only WISH is that the “Historical Brick (accent wall) room was also available jn a KING instead of a 2 QN. Because it comes with the nicer bathroom with soaking tub. And I wish Netflix was accessible on their TV’s like it used to be. Still, it’s our Favorite place to stay in the Burg!

Staff were super nice and accommodating. We had our dog with us and were fortunate that a great restaurant less than a block away had a covered, dog-friendly patio with heaters and blankets, and they were super nice, too. The rooms are small - there was no table to sit at to eat our take-out breakfast - but otherwise it was great.

We stayed at Hotel Windrow for two nights and found it to be a delightful, quaint western-style hotel. We were greeted by a very thoughtful receptionist who also helped us find our way around town. The cheerful holiday decorations brightened the lobby, and the freshly-baked cookies and hot coffee added to the festivities. Our rooms were perfect in scale and comfort. Just enough of everything! The bed was super comfortable and the pillows are just-right. While it is true that the mini-fridge is a mini-mini, it was adequate for our weekend needs. The bar shuts down at 9, but with so many restaurants in the area, this was not a concern. I am already planning our next trip to central WA so we can stay here again!
