It was the night of a popular concert. The hotel staff refused early check ins which resulted in a line out the door starting at 3 pm. I was in that line an hour waiting to check in. I’m sure it made many people late for the concert, luckily we made it on time. That should have been handled a lot better than it was especially considering the frequency of concerts in that area.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms did not have any of the normal amenities, like shampoo, lotion. The blow dryer didn't work properly. The hotel was once, very nice but needs some remodeling and touch ups.

Key for pool did not work. That’s the ONLY reason I booked here. When I brought up to front desk. She didn’t give a FLYING F***. Just oh that’s maintenance guy. Didn’t try and call or problem solve or try to help ONE OUNCE.

Wasn’t a horrible experience with the staff at all…. But the cleanliness and look of the rooms was not the best. Furniture was old, dingy, and scratched up. Shower was stained and old, with knobs that barely worked. There was an odd smell of urine in certain areas of the room.

Check in took an hour. It was not the fault of kind girls working at the front desk. They were so sweet, kind and did the best they could. I don't know what the issue was, something about not enough cleaning people but that is on management. The hotel is very old, run down, dated, not maintained and for the price I expected a lot more and also being a Red Lion which is a reputed brand.

I think maybe all of their vacuums are broken because everywhere we went the floor was filthy, in the room, hallway, common areas. The room smelled of old cigarettes. The fridge was so loud we slept with the heater/fan on to drown it out. The Continental breakfast is waffles, yogurt, cold cereal, toast or some pathetic looking fruit. The bed was comfortable though. I will give it that much.

Booked for concert and the staff was aware of the event. They noted that they were booked out due to this event. However people noted having over 30 minutes to check in. We had problems going into the rooms with the doors. Some people got rooms that had people in it already. Since the staff knew about the event, they were not staffed nor planned properly for it.

An ok stay
The front desk gal was very nice and let me know right away it was her first day. She did great. But I just didn’t understand why there wasn’t someone with her helping her when she needed help. It was a concert weekend and there was a line of people at 3pm to check in. For about 30 seconds a guy came to see if she was ok. She said, “I think so.” He just said, “if you need help call (diffferent person)” so he wasn’t even going to help her out. Though that was rude and unprofessional. The room was overall clean, but good lord please fix your showers. The water flows out of the spout for a bath so fast and hard, then when you go to take a shower it barely comes out. All of us in the room tried. Horrible. The beds were comfortable. No top sheet on the bed under the comforter. Over all it was an ok place to stay after a concert. Wouldn’t want to be there more then one night for the price.
